The fact that Olivia won the Lasker Award might cause a stir in the scientific community, but it may not attract much attention in the business world.

Everyone was shocked because Olivia was the Taylor family’s daughter.

She looked up, her bright eyes filled with yearning and anticipation. “It’s just that I really hope that one day, I can call you mother openly and announce to everyone that you’re my mother. I’m looking forward to this moment too much. That’s why I was sad when the news of Miss Olivia came.”

Yvonne sighed. “I think I’m a bad person. I actually guessed Miss Olivia just now and thought that she did it on purpose. She deliberately announced that she won the award today to steal my limelight.”

Although Amy’s heart ached for Yvonne, she still had her rationality. The Lasker Award was an international award, and it was the bellwether of the Nobel Prize. There was no possibility of manipulation at all. Moreover, there had been a series of processes such as review, nomination, and evaluation. It was impossible for Olivia to manipulate it.

Liam was surprised. “You believe in such things?”

“I’d rather believe it than not. Yvonne’s heart hurts when she hears about Olivia now. If you insist on calling her back, I’ll bring Yvonne out to stay.” Liam held the phone and looked at Amy in a daze. He did not speak for a long time. After a long time, he gave up dejectedly. “Dad, people change. Back then, Olivia was the motivation to keep me alive, but now, it’s Yvonne who’s supporting me.” Amy did not hate Olivia. She even felt sorry for Olivia for being lost for the past 18 years.
