“Don’t get me wrong, she’s not emotionally blunt at all! She’s just not as sensitive as I am,” Pudding laughed as well.

Huo Mian fell asleep on the couch inside the office. After putting a blanket over her, Qin Chu went back to work until it was lunchtime.

Huo Mian woke up at noon feeling famished. “Honey, I’m starving. Can we get some food at the cafeteria?”

“I’ll take you somewhere else today,” Qin Chu smiled mysteriously as he reached out to help Huo Mian up.
