“Mr. Qin… You came just in time.” Nalo seemed to know Qin Chu.

“Mr. Nalo, you came without invitation at midnight to harass my wife. That’s irritating.”

“Do you think you alone can rescue them from here? Do you think you’re an invincible superhero?” Nalo smirked.

“Of course not. How can I come and see Mr. Nalo unprepared?”

Qin Chu raised his hand lightly and a red dot appeared on Nalo’s head.

Seeing the red dot, Lu Yan smiled, feeling impressed that her brother-in-law could set up a sniper in such a short time.

“What’s this, Mr. Qin?”

“If you move, I’ll make your head explode,” Qin Chu said airily.

“I only wanted to have a chat with your wife. I don’t want to hurt her.”

“But my wife doesn’t want to chat with you. I’m not happy you forced it onto her.”

“Mr. Nalo…”

His subordinates didn’t know what to do.

“But you know the sniper has only a certain angle. The shop offers me many blind spots and if I dodge into any of the spots, the sniper can’t get me. But my men can kill you guys instantly. Do you think it’s wise for you to do that?”

It was the first time that Nalo met Qin Chu and he found Qin Chu to be quite interesting.

He wondered what Qin Chu would do and decided to test the waters.

“If you think I came alone, then you’re mistaken. Look outside.”

Qin Chu pointed out of the door.

Nalo’s men looked alarmed because about a dozen men were blocking the door with heavy weapons.

About six of them walked up toward Lu Yan.

“Boss, are you okay?”

“What are you guys doing here? You couldn’t sleep?” Lu Yan gave them a dirty look.

“We came immediately when we got the news. We were worried about you.”

“Save it. I’m fine.” Lu Yan thought it was a small deal and didn’t need so many people to come to her rescue.

“Mr. Qin, you want to have a shootout with us? Are you sure your pregnant wife won’t get hurt in the battle?”

Finally, Nalo glanced at Huo Mian’s baby bump, targeting Qin Chu’s weakness.

Huo Mian was piqued that she was taken as a weakness. Looking up at Qin Chu’s handsome profile, she said, “Honey, don’t worry. I’ll be fine since Yan will protect me. Don’t listen to him.”

“Yeah, I know.”

Qin Chu turned his head and kissed her pink lips lightly.

The kiss warmed her whole body instantly.

“Yo, Psychos, don’t pull this bullshit on us. Hurry up and let’s fight. It’s just another bloody shootout. I do this almost every damned day, so stop bluffing.”

Lu Yan was angry. Afraid they’d harm her sister, she strode to stand before Nalo, glaring at him.

Alarmed, Nalo’s men didn’t know what the woman was going to do, so they raised their guns and aimed at Lu Yan’s head.

The air was so tense that it seemed as if a small sound would trigger a fierce battle.

At this moment, Nalo’s cell phone rang. The sound was quite ear-grating in the silence.
