Epilogue: A Forever Written in Love
The Devil wears Love
The wedding was nothing short of a fairytale.
Adhya, draped in a stunning red lehenga, walked down the aisle with a mischievous yet teary-eyed smile, while Reyan stood at the mandap, his gaze glued to her, unwavering, intense.
Their vows were filled with love, promises, and teasing, their first night as husband and wife was a blend of passion and laughter, and their life together...
It was perfect.
And now, five years later, they had everything.
"Shh, Agastya... stop pulling on my hair, you little troublemaker!" Adhya groaned, trying to pry her six-month-old son's tiny fingers from her curls.
But the chubby-cheeked baby only giggled, his adorable dimpled smile lighting up the room.
Reyan, leaning against the doorframe, smirked. "He gets that from you, you know. Always causing chaos."
Adhya shot him a glare. "Excuse me? This is your son."
Reyan walked over, scooping Agastya into his arms effortlessly. The baby immediately latched onto his father's shirt, nuzzling into him.
Reyan softened, pressing a gentle kiss on Agastya's tiny forehead.
"That's right, buddy," he murmured. "You take your papa's side, always."
Adhya crossed her arms. "Unbelievable. First my husband, now my son. Betrayed in my own home."
Reyan chuckled, holding Agastya up. "Say, 'Mama is dramatic.'"
Agastya gurgled happily.
Adhya gasped. "Reyan!"
He grinned, rocking their son playfully. "What? He agrees with me."
Before she could retort, the bedroom door suddenly flew open.
"Alright, hand over my nephew!"
Aarav barged in, looking way too excited for this early in the morning.
Adhya groaned. "Not you too."
But Aarav completely ignored her, swooping in to grab Agastya.
"Come on, champ," he cooed, lifting the giggling baby. "Let's get you away from your boring parents. Time to meet the cool uncle!"
Reyan raised an eyebrow. "And where exactly do you think you're taking my son?"
Aarav smirked. "Somewhere he won't be corrupted by his father's grumpy genes."
Adhya burst out laughing.
Reyan rolled his eyes. "Unbelievable. The women in my life were already a headache, now my son is being kidnapped too."
"Kidnapped?" Aarav scoffed, bouncing Agastya in his arms. "He's coming willingly, right, champ?"
Agastya giggled again, clapping his tiny hands.
Adhya clutched her stomach, laughing. "Face it, Mr. Grump. Your own son has betrayed you."
Reyan narrowed his eyes at her. "Laugh all you want, sweetheart. Tonight, we'll see who's really betraying whom."
Her laughter immediately halted, her cheeks turning warm.
He smirked, stepping closer, his fingers trailing down her arm. "Blushing already?"
"Ugh, you two are disgusting," Aarav groaned. "I'm out. Come on, Agastya, let's go before they traumatize you."
And with that, Aarav marched out, stealing his nephew.
Adhya let out a dramatic sigh. "Well, there goes my child."
Reyan chuckled, wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her against him. "At least I still have you."
She grinned. "Always."
And as they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, with laughter, teasing, and love filling their home, they knewâ
Life was perfect.
A happily ever after.
But with them...
There would always be a little chaos too.
