"Sneha, open your mouth and take this medicine," Sahil said as he handed the medicine to Sneha.

Srishti stood there watching as Sahil fed Sneha the medicine. "Enough drama, Sneha. Look here," she said, and Sahil managed to get the spoonful of medicine into Sneha's mouth. Sneha made a face and swallowed the medicine.

Sneha was feeling much better now and the hospital had allowed her to go home the next day. Srishti was happy for her friend and felt less guilty.

As for the mysterious number in the letter, it was from a internet line no. and they were unable to locate it. Aahan was still investigating the matter, but it appeared that someone had erased all the evidence.

After some time, Sahil had to return to work as he was a lawyer and had been away from the office for the past week. Srishti assured him that she would be with Sneha and take care of her.

"Sneha, I'm angry with you," Srishti said with a pout. Sneha looked at her with a confused expression as Srishti continued, "You're being too hard on my munchkin, and that's not right." Sneha looked at her with an angry expression.

"Tuze munchkin hi dikh raha hai, mein yaha marte marte," as she was saying, Srishti muted her and said, "Tu bol ek baar or marne ki baat, i swear apne munchkin ka sath bhaag jaungi, me kyu little jaan," Srishti said while touching Sneha's stomach lovingly. As she kept her hand on Sneha's stomach, a movement was noticed which made both Sneha and Srishti shocked. They both looked at each other, questioning each other from their eyes only, 'Did you also realize it?' After some time, they both started to shout. Srishti stood up and kept her hand on her mouth in surprise.

"Did my munchkin just kicked?" Srishti asked, and Sneha just nodded.

"That means my munchkin is ready to run with me, yesss! Baby, it's okay. We will irritate your mom together, okay?" Srishti said, and they both had tears in their eyes.

After some time, Sneha borrowed Srishti's phone and started to call Sahil to notify him of this special news. As Srishti was standing there looking at her, a knock was heard. Srishti went towards the room door, and a nurse gave her a letter which made Srishti nervous. She looked around, wondering who sent her this. After asking the nurse, she said someone gave this to the guard. Looking at the piece of paper, she opened the letter.

Ishu, I know what happened, and I know that all are false, but that was not me. I didn't do anything. I only sent you one letter that was a congratulation, after that I didn't send anything. Ishu, I swear I don't want to hurt you. I want to meet you. I have some evidence about that person. Maybe that evidence helps you. I will wait for you only in the Starlight Cafe at 5 in the evening -H."

The letter made Srishti more anxious about the situation. She wondered who this "H" was and what evidence they had. Srishti thought it was strange that someone was claiming to have evidence about the person who sent the threatening letters. She decided that she had to meet this person to find out the truth.

SRISHTI POV

that letter made me confuse, but a nervous feeling was there. I have to share this news with Aahan. I can't go alone there to meet him, not because I am not strong, but I have anxiety feeling in my heart. I can't take any risks. After making plan in my mind, I go back to Sneha's room with a normal expression and hide that letter in my jeans pocket.

"Did you told him about munchkin kick?" I said with a smile and she nodded her head in excitement.

"Yah I told him and he is coming," she told me. After more talking here and there while keeping my expression normal, I took my phone and sent a message to Aahan that 'I want to meet'. After some minutes, he replied that he will be there in the parking lot.

As, Sahil arrived and I excused myself, leaving them alone in the room. I went to the parking lot, where Aahan was already waiting for me. He opened the passenger door for me and started the car. After a few silent minutes, he held my hand and placed it on the gear, which made me feel relaxed.

Feeling better, I started to tell him, "Today I got a letter again." His face expression changed to concern, and he parked the car beside the road, turning his whole body towards me and holding both of my hands. "Are you okay, Jaan? Did that letter say something again?" Without answering, I just forwarded the letter to him.

As he read, his face expression changed with each line, and he said, "So, this person is saying that it wasn't him. Then who is this person?" I just shrugged my shoulders. He continued, "Do you want to meet this person?" I nodded my head. "We have to, and you are coming with me." In response, he chuckled and touched my cheeks. "I will. I will always," which made me smile.

It was already 4 in the evening, and it would take us 30 minutes to reach the café. So, we decided to drive to the café and have something to eat first.

AUTHOR POV

As they reached the cafe, Srishti was struck by its beauty. It had everything she liked - the decor was minimalist, yet cozy with warm lighting that gave the place a welcoming feel. The cafe had a wall full of paintings, including balloon, lakes and mainly lake scenes. Srishti couldn't help but feel a sense of deja vu as she gazed at the lake painting.

As they ordered their meal, Srishti was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was indeed delicious. The soft music that played in the background was a tune from an old Bollywood song, which she found herself enjoying immensely. She felt transported to another world and for a moment forgot why they were there.

At the stroke of 5 o'clock, the main gate of the cafe creaked open, and a tall man stepped in. He had broad shoulders and a confident gait as he scanned the cafe. His striking features caught Srishti's attention - he had piercing grey eyes that held a hint of mischief, and his boyish charm was accentuated by the hint of a dimple on his cheek.

As he approached their table, Aahan's gaze locked onto him with a calm expression, holding Srishti's hand. The man took a seat opposite Srishti, and a small smile played on his lips as he took in the sight of their intertwined hands. Srishti couldn't guess who he was, but there was a sense of familiarity about him that she couldn't quite place.

"Hi, I'm Harsh, that H," the man said, his voice pleasant to the ears but not too deep.

"But I don't think I know you," Srishti replied, genuinely confused. Harsh just smiled at her in response.

"You know me," he said calmly, and Srishti looked at him with even more confusion. Aahan remained quiet and let them talk.

"Do you remember Lakeside Park which was just behind your primary school?" Harsh asked, and Srishti nodded.

"I met you there for the first time," he said, looking out the window with a smile as if remembering something

"You were a small girl back then with two pigtails. You were looking so cute that time. I went to Kashi to my mummy's house. My both parents were divorcing because my mother liked someone else, and my father didn't stop her; he let her go so easily. I was angry and sad back then. I didn't know what to do. When I went to the park, I found you there. You were looking at the sky, looking at your flying balloon. I was confused at first. That balloon was already lost, and you couldn't get it back. Why were you still smiling at that? When I asked you the reason, you said, 'I don't want to lose that, but my mumma said when we lost anything, we have to say goodbye before it is too late. So, I am saying goodbye as still, I can see that.' After saying that, you gave me your cute dimple smile. That thing made me remember that I was still angry with my mother for leaving us, and I ran towards my home without asking your name. But you shouted from back and told me 'ishu thats my name' to say bye to you. After that, I tried to find you, but I just couldn't.

When I was in college, I saw you again standing at a bus stop. You were all grown up, mature. I was afraid. What if I go and talk with you, and you don't remember me? I didn't have the courage to talk, so I started to send you letters. I didn't know when they made you scared, but after knowing that you had gone to Mumbai because of my letters, I stopped writing them," he ended his conversation and looked at Srishti, who was lost in her own thoughts.

Srishti remembered the child from the park but not his face, so she asked him, "then who is sending me messages? I just got one last night," and showed him the message.

Aahan looked at them both and said, "There is no way that number is a internet line number. We can't find that," and Harsh nodded his head.

"But I just sent some letters in the past, and all of them were to cheer Ishu up. I didn't write any types of threat," Harsh said, looking at Aahan who was still looking at him cautiously.

"Calmdown man, that was not me. Agar hota toh aaj tumse milta thodi," Harsh said, understanding the logic, and Aahan nodded in agreement

"So who is this person you wrote about in the letter, the one you have some evidence on?" Srishti asked Harsh.

"I think that person is someone close to you, someone who knows that I called you Ishu and my signature is H," Harsh replied, as Aahan and Srishti both nodded in response.

"And I got this video from your reception," he said, forwarding a pendrive to them.

"But the cameras were all hacked," Aahan asked, to which Harsh gave a smirk and replied, "That's a secret," with a wink. Aahan looked at him, perplexed.

Aahan's team had been investigating this for a week but still had nothing. They were trying to find Harsh, but it seemed that the mastermind was someone else.

" How can I watch this? We have nothing to play?" Srishti asked.

"Come with me," Harsh said and started moving towards a room that said "Cafe members only."

"But we can't enter here without permission," she said, and Aahan was looking at him, understanding something.

"This cafe is mine," Harsh said while setting his hair dramatically, and Srishti rolled her eyes.

The room had some kitchen things that were packed as they were new. The whole room was normal, nothing surprising. Harsh told them to sit and brought a laptop with him and forwarded it to Aahan.

Aahan logged in to the laptop and put the pen drive to load a video. That video showed a figure that was fully covered doing something with the system which had the photos and videos for their reception party. As the video was from the cameras only, that figure gave an okay sign to the cameras, and after that, the video ended.

There was nothing that could pinpoint who was that person, but seeing in the video, that person was not that tall. Indeed, the height was short.

Aahan and Srishti both looked at Harsh in confusion and looking at their faces, Harsh started to laugh.

"Yaar mujhe laga dono intelligent ho," Aahan looked at him and said, "Bataoge ab ya showoff hi karoge?" Harsh leaned towards them and told them to focus on the figure at a point. and then he zoomed it, which made Srishti and Aahan both shocked.

-------------------------♡-----------------------

back story

Harsh's childhood was marked by regular fights between his parents. His mother had someone else in her life before she got married to his father through an arranged marriage. However, after Harsh was born, she tried to make a life with his father, who held onto her tightly, even though she didn't reciprocate his feelings.

Harsh observed his father's one-sided love and how he continued to love his ex-wife even after she left him to be with someone else. Despite the pain and heartbreak, Harsh learned an important lesson about love. He understood that true love isn't possessive or selfish. It's about letting your loved ones fly free and find their own happiness, even if it means being with someone else.

It's not easy to accept when someone you love chooses to be with someone else, but it's a necessary part of loving someone. Love isn't just about what you want or what you feel, it's about what's best for the person you love. Harsh knows this well, and he learned it from his own experiences.

Despite his own heartbreak, Harsh is happy for Srishti, the love of his life. He believes that true love only happens once in a lifetime, and he's already experienced it when he first saw Srishti on a bus stand in college. He understands that his love for her is not about holding onto her, but about letting her find her own happiness, even if it means being with someone else.

In the end, Harsh's story teaches us that love is a complex and multifaceted emotion. It can bring us joy and happiness, but it can also cause us pain and heartbreak. However, if we approach love with a selfless and giving attitude, we can experience the true beauty and power of love.
