chapter 41

       Vanya's POVI woke up and found myself covered with blanket. I remember I didn't had put blanket while sleeping. I had slept listening the songs. Who can it be? Mayur, he can only care for me this much. I had hurt him so much but he still cares for me..... If I had things in my hand, then I would have never gave him divorce and would always stay with him, beside him...I woke up and freshened up and went near Mayur's room. I looked from the window, he is still sleeping. He has a smile on his face maybe he is dreaming something nice. I Wish his smile remains like this forever and he would always sleep peacefully without any worries. GOD, PLEASE GIVE ALL HIS WORRIES TO ME AND ALL MY HAPPINESS TO HIM. HE IS MY HAPPINESS AND I WANT HIM TO STAY HAPPY LIKE THIS ALWAYS. I went inside his room and saw him sleeping with his phone on his chest. It was my pic on his phone wallpaper. I smiled looking at it... But then his alarm rang and I ran from there as I don't want him to see me there. I went to kitchen to prepare breakfast. I know he will have breakfast with me today. So I served and kept his plate ready. He came down and sat quietly. He didn't say Good morning 😞. I WAS DYING TO HEAR THE WORD 'SWEETHEART' FROM HIS MOUTH. I ALSO WANT TO CALL HIM : 'BRAINLESS IDIOT, TALK TO ME.'He told me to get ready by 4 pm as we are going to lawyer's office. I didn't say anything but nodded. He went after finishing breakfast. Atleast he had his breakfast today. I had medicine and in afternoon I prepared pulao for me. I first called John uncle and asked him whether Mayur had his lunch. He told me that he had made him eat. I said Thank you to uncle. Uncle asked me to call him directly and ask. I told a lie that we both had a small fight that's why he is not talking to me. Uncle told me that he will talk but I stopped him saying that I will make right ,everything right between us. What, I didn't said is I will go away from his life, forever. THIS THOUGHT ITSELF GIVES PAIN, WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I GO? I should have died then we both didn't need to face this. ... But, I have to live for him, I will live with his memories all my life. At evening, we went to lawyer's office. We have to stay together for 6 months more to get divorce. Oh God, how am I going to spend this six months without talking to my love❤. 6 months later... Today, our divorce will happen. 6 months went by like wind. We only talked when it's necessary. It was very difficult for me. We went together to court and as soon as we reached, I went and stood near my lawyer. Judge told us to sign the papers and then we will be officially divorced. MY HEART STARTED ACHING WITH EACH WORD THAT JUDGE SPOKE. TEARS FORMED IN MY EYES, I DIDN'T LET IT FALL. I saw Mayur, he also controlled himself and went from there. I also decided to leave, so I called Reena. She is angry with me because I never told her reason for divorce. Vanya : "Reena, please do me a favor?" Reena : "Why, is your divorce over. Now, are you happy?." Vanya : "Stop it Reena. It's hard for me also to go away from him. I didn't have an option and it's for his best only. Please, book today's ticket for Kerala. And don't ask me the reason, I won't be able to tell you. If you even once considered me as your friend before, please book the ticket."Reena : "I had always considered you as a friend, stop blackmailing me. I will book your ticket and stay happy wherever you are". Vanya :" Thanks Reena, one more help needed, can you come to my home, oh sorry Mayur's home. I need your help in packing". Reena :" You reach there I will come after I book your ticket". I said Thank you to her and disconnected the call. I reach home but Mayur has not come here and I don't think I should call him. Ashish will be there for him. I started folding my clothes and started packing. After half an hour doorbell rang, I think Reena came, so I went down and opened the door. Before opening it, I wiped my face as she doesn't need to see that I was crying all the time since I came here. She came inside and I closed the door again. Reena:" You were crying Vanya?"Vanya : "No, dust when to my eyes when I opened the door." Reena : "Is the dust gone? Don't dare to lie to me, I know you very well."Vanya : "It's seriously dust. Now come with me and help me.". I didn't allow her to say anything and took her to the room. I gave her clothes after folding and she packed it in bag. I didn't packed the clothes, which Mayur gifted me. I like that clothes very much but I can't take it with me. So I nicely folded it and kept it in the wardrobe. After half an hour, we both packed almost everything. I told her to book the cab for station. She told me that she will drop me to the station and wait till the train departs. So, it's now 5 pm, so we left. She gave me my ticket. My train is in an hour. While going towards  the door, I started crying. This is the house where I stayed with my love❤, sorry Mayur for a year. Everything in the house reminded me of him. Of his love and care for me.Reena :" Don't cry now, go and start your new life'"Vanya : "Everything is over Vanya, I started loving him, I fell in love with him and now everything is over. We are divorced."Reena : "What? Are you telling the truth? "Vanya :" Nothing, I just blabbered something. There is no truth in it. We are getting late, let's go".. Reena : "This is Ashish's car. Driver will drop you. I forgot something important, you go in this car. I will complete my work fast and then reach there. I will reach before your train departs". I hugged her for last time and sat in the car. Driver drove the car towards the station. I started crying. EVERYTHING IS OVER. I AM DIVORCED. WE BOTH ARE HEARTBROKEN. We didn't inform our parents anything. We talked like nothing happened between us. I first called the doctor and informed him that I am leaving for Kerala. I reached station. I got up and removed my bags from the car. I reached platform where my train will arrive. I sat there in the bench. I saw Reena coming from the bridge. She is very disturbed and is trying to call somebody repeatedly. She stood there only and talked to the person for few minutes. Then she came towards me. Vanya : "Why are you worried? Is everything fine." Reena : "Yes, everything is fine. When will your train arrive? "Vanya : "Will arrive soon. See train is coming."Train arrived and after it stopped. I entered inside with my luggage and sat in my seat near window. Reena also came inside and sat opposite to me as still half an hour is left for train to depart. She was continuously looking at the mobile as if she is waiting for someone's call..  I didn't ask her anything as I myself was in a huge mess. I continuously looked outside window and tears started forming. But I didn't cry in front of her. We heard our announcement that our train will depart in 5 minutes. Reena started looking at me with cried eyes and I also cried. She hugged me and then went out. The train started departing. I let my tears flow freely. Till how much time can I stop it? She waved me bye and then she completely disappeared from my view. Now all I can see is nature. I wiped my tears and continued looking outside...
