              Vanya's POVI am now sitting in the hospital bed. My head is bandaged due to the accident, a fast speed truck collided with my car. I was brought here by my college students. My head is paining till now. When the accident happened, I thought I am not going to survive, but God's grace, I got second life. I was unconscious for about 3 hours. Where is my phone but?A student came and gave me my mobile. It was switched off. I opened and was shocked to receive 50+ missed calls from Mayur. So many missed calls, is he alright? Nothing should happen to him. So I think to call him back but then doctor arrives with a sad face with some reports in his hand.Vanya: "Doctor, is everything okay? When I will be discharged? My reports are normal na?"Doctor: "Sorry to inform you, but your reports are".......My phone fell from my hand when I listened to what doctor said. I didn't know what to say or what to do. My mind went completely blank and all I can see his darkness. Tears started falling from my eyes.I balanced myself and the nurse consoled me and gave me water to drink. I drank whole bottle in one go. My mobile rang again, it's Mayur. I received it.Mayur: "Vanya are you ok na? I was very afraid, I don't know why. I have called you many times, where were you. I want to hear your voice Vanya, please say something."I started crying listening to his voice but I controlled myself.Vanya: "I am fine Mayur. How are you? Sorry, I was tired after coming from college so directly went to sleep. I woke up just now. I am sorry".Mayur: 'No need to say sorry, I felt a strange feeling and was very anxious and you were not picking the calls.. so was afraid. Really, you are fine na?"Vanya: "I am fine Mayur, will talk to you later. Amma is calling me."I disconnected the call and started crying sitting on the floor. My whole life has turn upside down with that one accident and those doctor's words. I cried loudly and the nurse arrived listening to my voice. She consoled me.Nurse: "Beta, don't cry. Nothing will happen to you, you will be fine and healthy again. You have to stay strong, don't lose hope. Come, give me your hand and sleep for sometime everything will be alright."I hugged her tightly and cried. She consoled me and rubbed my back to make me feel better. Then she made me sleep in the bed. Gave me dinner to eat and forced me to eat it. She sat with me till I completed my dinner and gave me my medicines. After eating medicines, when did I slept, I don't know......Next morning I woke up and found myself in the same hospital bed. Nurse arrived and she helped me in freshening up and then doctor arrived.Doctor: "Mrs. Vanya, we are discharging you now. But I had explained you everything yesterday and you have to take your medicines regularly without fail. I had recommended you a best doctor who is a well known specialist for your case. He is currently shifted to Kerala a month ago. If you are going there, then I will inform him beforehand and hand over your file to him."Vanya: "Doctor, I want some time to think clearly. I will inform you my decision."Doctor:" As your wish but Please, don't delay it. It will be for your own good if you go there. Take care and in case something happens, give me a call."Vanya: Thank you Doctor and I will inform you soon about it.I filled all the form and went straight home. I went to my room and started crying. I must take the decision soon otherwise it will be very late. My phone rang it was Mayur. I picked the call...Mayur: "Good morning, sweetheart, I am in the airport now. Will reach there by evening today."Vanya: "Oh, your's was 15 days trip na? You are coming early? Is everything alright?"Mayur:" I am alright. I didn't feel like staying there so I gave my work to my assistant and I will talk to you later, have to catch the flight."He disconnected and I must take the decision soon as he will be reaching here by evening today. He would ask me about my bandage in the head so I remove my bandage. 1 and a half day went by so I removed my bandage.Had to take medicines, so I had my lunch. Made pulao for me and then with great difficulty, keeping a big stone on my heart, arrived at a decision which I will announce it to Mayur after he arrives today.Now, I feel this is the best decision for both of us , afterwards I don't know. I have to say that thing to him no matter it hurts him or breaks him. For me, it's going to cost my life as I can't leave without him. I LOVE HIM AND THAT'S THE REASON I HAVE TO DO THIS. It's evening and I am looking normal now. I don't want him to find anything odd about me. So I smiled at him when he entered. He is very happy and I am going to give him the biggest shock.What an irony! If that accident didn't occured and the doctor didn't said those words then I would have confessed my feelings for him and he would be very happy because I know he loves me very much as he had confessed already when he was half unconscious in Matheran. But I AM GOING TO BREAK HIS HEART AND THE THOUGHT ITSELF BROKE MY HEART INTO MILLION PIECES. I made tea for us and sat on the opposite sofa and gave his tea.Mayur:" Thank you for the tea sweetheart. I wanted to tell you something."Vanya: "Hmm, Even I also wanted to tell you something. First go freshen up and then we will talk". Mayur: "Ok, what happened to your head? Why did you put band-aid?"Vanya: "I fell in the bathroom. It's not paining now, I am fine."He came near me and touched the wound and scolded me for not being careful. He removed that band-aid, and put the fresh one over it.How could I tell you Mayur? It's not the wound that is giving me pain, but my heart is paining. It needs you to heal but I can't let you so I have to break yours and mine heart simultaneously. I AM SORRY MAYUR, I AM SORRY.Mayur: "Where were you lost? What were you thinking?"Vanya: 'Nothing, you go and freshen up. I will prepare dinner for both of us."He nods and goes to the room to freshen up. I sit there silently and when tears started falling I don't know...Mayur came down after some time and we didn't speak, he came and helped me in my kitchen work. We started cooking dinner together. We first had dinner if I had told him what I wanted to tell then I am sure he will not have dinner. So we had dinner and he helped me in cleaning dishes. Then we went to our room.Mayur:" Vanya. I want to tell you that I - I .....Vanya: "Wait, first let me speak. I will come straight to the point. I want a divorceee."........................................ ...................
