                    MAYUR POV(Please read the Author's Note at the end of this chapter) I am very happy as Vanya became my friend. My crush turned my friend. It all started when we were coming from the meeting of our college. She started to talk to me but I ignored her this time. She gave me an angry look and her face looks even beautiful when she is angry. She said sorry, Sorry coming from a girl's mouth is rare. I had forgiven her that time only but I thought of doing some more drama. But soon I agreed as I can't keep my girl sad. So we talked a lot, reached hospital and she waited for me to go with her inside. We ate our dinner together. She even requested Dr. Raj for extra couch for me. From that moment I know she is the one for me and I will do anything for her but will never force her to marry me, NEVER. In the morning, I received a call and I straight away went to office from there and I didn't inform them as they were sleeping peacefully and I don't want to disturb them. I messaged her and she replied back. We talked with each other for some time and went with my work.            CHILDREN'S DAYWOW! My girl is looking like an angel in that red gown and I wore black. I waved her and she came near us and took us to our respective seats. I am the chief guest today  as I  give holidays to all my employees on this day because let parents at least spend a day work free with their children. Prayer started and I lighted a candle on the stage. But where is my girl? She is not seen anywhere in the hall. So I thought of searching her backstage and She was there standing worriedly. Mayur : "What happened Vanya? Is everything okay? Any problem?" Vanya : "Why did you came here? You are the chief guest so you should be sitting there."Mayur :" I searched for my friend and I didn't find her. So I searched her in backstage and guess what she was standing worried." Vanya :" Hahaha😂. Enough of your drama. I was going to remove my name from dance." Mayur : "Why are you removing your name? Are you afraid? My friend who is a professor is afraid of 💃dance 😆😆"Vanya : "Shut up! I am not afraid of anything. The problem is with my dance  partner(Utkarsh). He didn't arrived here so I made a call and he said he will not be coming as he had an family emergency. So I can't dance on that song without partner."Mayur : "Ohh! That's the problem. Can I become your partner? I mean your dance partner."Vanya : "You know dance? "Mayur : "I can dance good. You show me the steps let me see if I will be able to do it or not." Vanya : "Ok, let's start."...............................................................                THIRD PERSON POVThe function has started. The first dance was performed by Vanitha and Varshitha on the song 'Aashiyaan' from the movie 'Barfi'. They danced very nicely and the audience enjoyed a lot and cheered for them. Second performance was a play performed by other professors. And then mimicry, some students sang songs and everyone enjoyed it. "Now it's time for the last dance performance, please give a big round of applause to our colleagues Miss. Vanya and Mr. Utkarsh." announced the host on stage. Vanya came alone and stood on the stage and took the mic from the host "Good evening everyone, My dance partner Mr. Utkarsh is not here with us now. So I invite my new dance partner to please come on the stage. Please give a big round of applause to none other than Mr. Mayur".Hearing the name, all were very shocked especially Harish and Swetha. They never thought Mayur will agree to dance. Mayur came on the stage and the host went by switching on only the centre lights. Little girls were standing on one side and little boys on other side and in between Vanya and Mayur. Music starts playing... Little children start dancing first with this song. With this the function comes to an end and all people go to have their dinner as its arranged for all audience present there. Mayur and Vanya change their costumes and goes to have their dinner. They take their respective plates and  sits near Harish and Swetha's table. Harish : "You all have done a very good job handling this program. I am very happy. And you both have danced very nicely. Mayur when did you learn dance? "Mayur : "I practised this just before 1 hour. Vanya helped me by  teaching dance."Vanya : "Yes uncle, he danced very well. I was worried first and thought of removing my performance but Mayur came and he said he will do it  and he did it very nicely."Swetha :" Vanya, you also did a great job by handling the children very well. Thank you for making their day Vanya. And how is Dinesh anna now? "Vanya :" No need to thank me mam. They are children and they deserve best. He is fine now aunty."Harish :" Vanya molle, can I ask you a question? If you are comfortable?" Vanya : "Yes uncle, you can ask me anything? "Harish : "Will you marry Mayur? Will you become our second daughter?. If no, you can directly say. Your family and we all have agreed for this marriage. Even Mayur agreed. But your opinion matters molle?
