“Qiqi, you have a boyfriend?” Lin Yu thought there were developments to Lin Yueqi’s relationship, so she placed her bowl and chopsticks down, asking, “How is the man?”

“Aunt Li, don’t listen to her nonsense. She doesn’t have any memory after she turned 17 years old, so where is she going to find a boyfriend? Date a junior in high school?” Xiao Ke dropped some meat in Lin Yu’s bowl, indicating for her to eat more.

From the time they started eating until present, Lin Yu had already gotten a general understanding of Lin Yueqi’s situation, but she found it incredulous.

“Don’t bully me for losing my memory. I told you guys that I really know who the little chubby girl’s father is.” Lin Yueqi raised her chopsticks and spoke frankly with assurance.

Xiao Ke bit the tip of the chopsticks and said calmly, “Sister Qi, are you telling me that little bun’s father is top millionaire Lu’s grandson?”

“That’s right. How do you know?”

Little bun patted her forehead with her chubby hands and said childishly, “Oh my god. Aunty Keke already saw through mummy’s lies. Mummy’s losing face!”

Lin Yueqi was speechless.

Lin Yu smiled and put some more food in Lin Yueqi’s bowl, ordering, “You… just stay home and recuperate these few days. Tomorrow, I’ll have your Grandfather Third invite a doctor trained in Chinese medicine over to take a look at the injury on your face. The injury doesn’t seem deep, so it probably won’t leave any scars. Don’t think too much about it.”

Seeing that no one on the dining table believed in her words, Lin Yueqi said in a low voice, “You guys can choose to believe it or not. Once the chubby little girl becomes the heir to the Lu Family, you guys will find out.”

She rapidly finished the food in her bowl and snatched her phone back from Xiao Ke before running back to her room to sleep.

Seeing that she finished eating to her heart’s content and she also had the cozy heater in the background to warm her up, Lin Yueqi wrapped herself in her blankets and quickly fell into deep sleep.

In her dream, Lin Yueqi had a general understanding that Lu Ting was only willing to marry her because of the little bun.

There were barely any members in the Lu Family, so little bun will become Lu Family’s only heir and the real young daughter of an affluent family.

In her dream, Lin Yueqi wanted to take revenge on Qin Xue, so she needed Lu Ting’s power. Therefore, she married Lu Ting under a contract.

She’ll be Mrs. Lu while the Lu Family would give her any resources she needed.

Borrowing Lu Family’s power, Lin Yueqi could indeed make a comeback. But, she had never won against Qin Xue.

Qin Xue had gathered enough of Lin Yueqi’s negative energy, so she was sufficiently beautiful. She started to seduce Lu Ting, but the latter only had his heart set on his daughter and family, so the seduction didn’t work on him at all.

Qin Xue used her beauty to gain access to many connections and using them, she provoked Lin Yueqi constantly, not giving her a chance to adjust the negative energy in her. Lin Yueqi couldn’t find any time to take a breath at all.

Lin Yueqi was “competitive and aggressive.” She always liked to fight with people, which made Lu Ting a bit annoyed at her. Originally, he didn’t even establish a relationship with Lin Yueqi, but after facing this woman with negative energy daily, his favorable impression of her decreased.

Because little bun was young, she was easily influenced by adults. The originally innocent, adorable, and well-behaved little bun was influenced by Lin Yueqi’s negative energy, and she slowly changed. Lu Ting realized this and started to talk to Lin Yueqi about her being a role model for the child. However, the negotiations always failed.
