Little bun drew a semi-circle with her short and thick chubby arms in the air and then crossed her arms over her chest, knitting her eyebrows and humping. “Mummy, do you dislike me?”

“No, no, no. That’s not what I mean. You’re so cute, so why would I dislike you?” Lin Yueqi pinched the little girl’s chubby face and then patted her shoulders saying, “Don’t you think ‘mummy’ is displeasing to the ears?”

“But if I don’t call you mummy, what do I call you?” The little bun tugged the two braided pigtails.

“Qiqi?”

“Fine.” The little girl moved her chubby face closer and then poked her chubby cheeks with her short fingers, saying, “Kiss me on the cheeks and I’ll agree.”

Lin Yueqi was speechless. She unwillingly moved closer and kissed the little girl’s cheeks.

She just finished kissing her when the little girl wrapped her arms around her neck and smacked her lips on Lin Yueqi’s. Then she happily led the dog and ran into the room.

Lin Yueqi clutched her face, dumbstruck. This little brat. Give me my first kiss back!

Lin Yu made a table full of food, all Lin Yueqi’s favorites.

Deep-fried pork, pea shoots and meatballs soup, shredded beef with pea shoots… lately, Lin Yueqi had eaten quite a bit of takeouts with Xiao Ke and now, her paternal aunt’s healthy meal made her gorge herself.

Lin Yu kept on putting food in their bowls and saying warmly, “Eat slowly. No one’s stealing the food from you guys.”

Lin Yueqi had the habit of scrolling through Weibo while eating. She just turned on her phone when Xiao Ke snatched it away.

She still had food in her mouth, so her words were vague, “Xiao Ke, you’re too excessive! Hand the phone back! As a transmigrated beautiful woman, I need to look at the news to understand the current trends.”

“I’ll look for you.” Xiao Ke was worried of her seeing the negative news on the internet from the past few days and that it might influence her appetite.

Xiao Ke who never concerned herself with financial news was puzzled after seeing this. “In the news, when Lu Shengguo accepted the interview, he admitted to having a grandson. Just how lucky must this grandson be to have become the top millionaire’s grandson and inherit this vast family property?”

A name popped up in Lin Yueqi’s mind  — Lu Ting.

She was curious about the appearance of little bun’s father.

She turned around to see the little chubby girl with an oily mouth and carrying an enamel bowl while holding a steel spoon. She could almost imagine the little bun’s father’s appearance in her mind.

Probably… an oily and greasy fatty?

After the little girl with a huge appetite placed the bowl down, she patted her round stomach and sincerely said from the bottom of her heart, “If only I had a wealthy daddy. That way, I can have daddy buy mummy’s time, so she can stay by my side daily!”

Lin Yueqi chuckled and said, “You have quite the thought. Little chubby girl, don’t worry. Quickly, half of your wish will be granted.”

“Whoa, will mummy stay by my side from now on?” She rocked her short legs back and forth, and her eyes sparkled.
