Chapter 307: 307: Eating Midnight Snack Together

It was quite a coincidence that, as the four of them walked towards the school gate, laughing and chatting, they ran into Ouyang Huihui, who was on her way back to school.

Before they recognized Ouyang Huihui, Cao Jianhui, Wu Longjiang, and Li Fuming, had already noticed from a distance a girl with long legs and a tall figure approaching them, and all eyes were on her. After recognizing it was Ouyang Huihui, they felt slightly deflated.

Originally, they were wondering who this tall, long-legged girl could be, considering going over to make her acquaintance. But it turned out to be Ouyang Huihui.

Even though Luo Ziling repeatedly denied having any sort of affair with Ouyang Huihui, the two interacted quite often and seemed like happy frenemies. Thus, all three believed that there must be some unspeakable relationship between them. Consequently, they didn’t dare to hit on Ouyang Huihui.

However, when they met face to face, they still showed enough enthusiasm.

“What a coincidence, Huihui,” Cao Jianhui greeted her warmly, his eyes squinting with his smile, “We are going out for a late-night snack. Would you like to join us? Today, Boss is treating!”

Luo Ziling really hoped Ouyang Huihui would decline. He didn’t want her around while having late-night snacks. Unexpectedly, after hesitating for a moment, the woman agreed, “Sure, I happen to be hungry. Since Luo Ziling is treating, I’ll join in for the free meal and drinks.”

“You don’t have to go,” Luo Ziling mumbled.

Ouyang Huihui automatically filtered out his softly spoken words and greeted Cao Jianhui, Li Fuming, and Wu Longjiang with enthusiasm.

If Luo Ziling didn’t want her to go, she would insist on going.

These three guys didn’t hear Luo Ziling’s mumbling words; their attention was entirely focused on Ouyang Huihui, the great beauty.

Ouyang Feifei had a very tall figure, and her long legs accentuated by tight jeans could instantly catch a man’s gaze while her slightly tight sweater showed off her gorgeous figure to its advantage. Without even looking at her face, just her figure alone would make many men nosebleed.

Not to mention, the woman’s face could be described as devastatingly beautiful.

While lamenting that Ouyang Huihui was truly a national beauty and a heavenly fragrance, Cao Jianhui and the others still lamented that Luo Ziling had no interest in such a beauty; it was simply torture for them, who were single.

Even though they knew they had no chance and no possibility to pursue Ouyang Huihui, confronted with such a beauty, the three animals had their hormones quickly ignited and competed to get close to Ouyang Huihui.

“Huihui, I’ve brought some local specialty products from home, they taste really good. Why don’t you come and try some at our dorm?” Li Fuming invited with a giggly smile, “Southern Fujian snacks, they’re quite good.”

Wu Longjiang also hurried to offer his eagerness, “I have pomegranates from the South and some marinated delights, very tasty, how about I get you some?”

Cao Jianhui wanted to invite her too, but after a glare from Luo Ziling, he had to give up.

“Well, sure, if it’s still early when we come back from the late-night snack, then I’ll visit your dorm,” Ouyang Huihui readily agreed. As she did, she glanced sideways at Luo Ziling, as if to show off.

The idea that Ouyang Huihui would actually be willing to come hang out in their dorm excited Cao Jianhui, Li Fuming, and Wu Longjiang immensely.

Seeing how thrilled these three guys were, Luo Ziling could only sulk in silence.

Ouyang Huihui’s devilish figure coupled with her angelic face, once she appeared at the school gate, attracted a lot of attention.

Luo Ziling also quickly became the subject of many people’s attention. The sight of this pair of happy frenemies going out for late-night snacks triggered many people’s wild guesses.

Before long, posts about them appeared on the school forum again. However, the post was made by a newly registered account, as no one dared to use their main account to post about Ouyang Huihui, fearing retaliation from this ferocious woman.

“Hey, what’s with that look on your face, you don’t welcome me?” Ouyang Huihui couldn’t help feeling a bit angry when she saw Luo Ziling was not enthusiastic about her presence, “If you invited me for a late-night snack, just send me away if you want.”

“I didn’t mean that. Let’s eat together,” Luo Ziling said, too lazy to quibble with Ouyang Huihui.

Ouyang Huihui responded with just a snort.

Soon, the group arrived at the Fatty’s BBQ Shop near the entrance and got themselves a private room.

Generally, students who go out for barbecue don’t like to book private rooms. They prefer to sit by the street at the entrance, enjoying the barbecue in the open air, speaking without any inhibitions. That’s where the real flavor is. But because Ouyang Huihui was there, the four guys, who originally wanted to eat outside, had to change their plans and eat in a private room.

Cao Jianhui and Wu Longjiang acted like they wanted Luo Ziling to bleed money, ordering a heap of barbecue items.

They even ordered two dozen oysters and a large pot of Wanzhou grilled fish.

“Haven’t you guys had dinner?” Ouyang Huihui couldn’t help but be surprised seeing the amount of food Cao Jianhui and the others ordered.

“Boss is rarely treating us to a supper, let him bleed a bit this time,” Cao Jianhui said with pride, chewing on a skewer of Li Ji meat, and laughing lewdly.

“Huihui, the grilled oysters here are really good, and the grilled fish is very fresh. Hurry up and eat them while they’re hot,” Li Fuming courteously invited Ouyang Huihui to eat.

As someone concerned about maintaining her figure, Ouyang Huihui rarely ate late night snacks. Moreover, she wasn’t very keen on barbecues, so she didn’t eat with as much gusto as the guys, instead eating elegantly and leisurely.

Luo Ziling didn’t pay much attention to Ouyang Huihui and happily enjoyed his own meal.

The grilled oysters that Ouyang Huihui didn’t want were all eaten by him.

“Boss, this stuff is good for the libido, you’re eating too much, watch out for a nosebleed!” Cao Jianhui whispered in Luo Ziling’s ear, subtly gesturing with his lips toward the primly eating Ouyang Huihui.

As a result, he got a kick in the butt from Luo Ziling, who was standing up to grab some beer. The pain made him yelp and holler.

Watching the guys’ amusing behavior, Ouyang Huihui couldn’t help but start laughing.

After snatching some barbecue from Fatty Boss, Luo Ziling was just about to sit down when his phone rang.

To his surprise, it was Yang Qingyin calling.

He quickly stood up and left the private room to answer the call.

“Junior, I’ll be back at the school soon, I finally escaped the cage,” as soon as the call was answered, after a brief greeting, Yang Qingyin’s soft voice came through the handset.

“Then congratulations are in order, senior,” Luo Ziling chuckled, “We should celebrate!”

“Would you mind treating me to some late-night snacks?” Yang Qingyin also giggled, “I only had a little for dinner and I’m hungry now.”

“Uh,” Luo Ziling hesitated before cautiously replying, “I’m having supper with a few roommates near the school gate. Three beasts have roped me into paying!”

After a pause, Yang Qingyin immediately laughed and said, “Then would you mind if I join you?”

“Of course not.” Luo Ziling agreed without any hesitation.
