Chapter 20: How did you come back?

Looking at the series of Beauty Pictures, Chu Yu declared resolutely, “Grandmother, I will not marry another woman.”

Upon hearing this, Old Madam Chu forcefully slapped the table, bypassed the screen, and entered the inner room. The sight of the person lying on the bed bed filled her with fury.

Shao He reached under the pillow for the dagger, got out of bed, dressed, and walked to the door.

“Knock, knock, knock.” A light knocking sound rang out.

“Who is it?”

“It’s me.”

A deep voice replied,

Shao He abruptly opened the door and, seeing the person in the wheelchair, exclaimed, “How did you come back?”

Pei Huaian glanced inside and whispered, “Can I come in? It’s windy outside; don’t let it blow on the child.”

Shao He nodded, “Come in.”
