Two Years Later

Since the fight, the pack has become stronger. It took months for us to regain our strength. We all lost loved ones. Our family.

We grieved, we wept, and we became a pack filled with anger.

But we overcame it. Slowly, but we did.

It's strange to think that a couple years back I wanted to get away from my pack. I couldn't dream of leaving this town, my people.

My family, that seemed to pop up in every direction.

Like my baby doll Sunny. She's such a strong little pup.

It took her almost a year to open up to Caleb and me. It was heartbreaking seeing her shy away from us, from everybody.

Pack members who had known Peter, had came to visit Sunny. But that only made her pull herself farther into her shell.

She wouldn't come out of her room. Unless Joey assured everybody was gone. Only then would she go out to eat, bathe, and play. Only with Joey. And then slowly she let in Zoey and Natalia.

And then one night she crawled into our bed and began to sob into our arms. That was the day she finally began to open up to us. And it was such a bittersweet moment.

Knowing that she finally let Peter go, and let us in.

Another of my babies is Natalia. I took her in after seeing her mistreated by her mother. I always had a feeling that her mother wasn't fully there.

But Natalia protected her mother.

Until I stepped in. Seeing Natalia's porcelain skin bruised purple and blue. It was sickening.

Needless to say Tanya, Natalia's mother was now locked away in our prison.

"Hey Ari, need some help?" Jumping in fright I looked behind me to see Jacob, with his half smirk.

"I'm fine Jake. Just a bit breathless." I laughed as I continued making my way down the steps, Jake hovering behind me.

"I swear you have the worst timing to throw a baby shower." He muttered staring up at the grey skies.

"Hey!" I chuckled hitting his chest with my hand. "For your information I am not throwing this baby shower. I would rather be cuddled up in bed, with my kiddos." I sighed wobbling further into the woods.

"Ah sounds like paradise." He joked throwing his arms around my shoulder as I glared up at him.

Even if he was teasing I knew he would rather be doing the same. With his six month baby and his mate, who was once again - pregnant.

Yes, he had finally met his mate.

After the fight, Jake was no longer a part of the Crimson Pack. Nobody trusted him. Not to help lead and protect the pack. Not even to live in our territory.

And Caleb was more than happy to announce that Jacob had become a rogue.

But I couldn't see him as that. A rouge.

Jacob was kind, caring, a total sweetheart.

Who was clouded by what he thought was love, and pulled even further into his haze by Sarah.

Sarah, ran off as the fight peaked. With Alpha Embers entering the territory she knew it was over and left. Last I heard she was a rouge, but she found her true mate.

Jake, on the other hand was dealt the tough end. He was a rouge for months. Barely escaping attacks by the Alpha's who chased him out of their towns.

Until I finally convinced my father to let him in his pack.

He had been reluctant. But seeing as Marina was now in my pack with Adrian as beta's. And his son no where to be found, after his mothers passing. He needed more people surrounding him.

That is where Jacob met her - Vivian Havens.

She's a beauty. With long waved - natural- red hair, vibrant green eyes, a small button nose, and the cutest freckles framing her cheeks.

She had accepted him immediately. Not caring about his pass or his baggage. She loved him completely and Jacob for the first time- felt what true love felt like.

That day he called me and apologized about a million times. And a couple months later informed be about her pregnancy.

Caleb still hadn't put his trust in Jacob, but after a night he caved.

And I was there to meet my godson River. Who was the exact replica of his mother, except for his blonde locks that he inherited from his father.

He would be a heart breaker.

And eight months later here we were, at the pack house celebrating my unborn baby.

"Ariana!" Squeaking I hit Quinn as she jumped in front of us, scaring me.

"This pregnancy is making you so jumpy." She laughed pushing her hair out of her face as the wind began to pick up.

"You two are so mean." I huffed pushing them away as I continued my way to the lake. Rubbing my swollen belly.

"Aw I'm sorry!" Quinn pouted before a full blown smile and a scream escaped her lips.

"Hey baby." Vince smirked picking her up as she leapt into his arms.

"I thought you weren't going to be able to make it." She breathed before she swooped down and captured his answer with her lips.

Smirking at Jacob I motioned for us to give them a couple minutes to themselves.

Quinn and Vincent had the most complicated and hilarious relationship out of everyone in the pack.

They hated each other for so long, that once they began to fall for each other they became so awkward.

Quinn who was normally so cool and collected. Always on point with her wardrobe, makeup and hair. Became a mess. She ended up coming to me for advice which wasn't the best idea since I had no fashion style.

Vincent, who always had a come back. Smooth talker and a killer smirk. Well he lost all of it. Every time Quinn would speak he would stutter, trip on his feet and blush. Long gone was the playboy.

With a final push from Jossie and me. They finally became a couple.

Which of course was complicated. Seeing as Quinn always had the chance of meeting her mate. Vincent wouldn't age. And Vincent running his clan while Quinn helped her father run their pack.

But their love was so pure and you could see how deep their love was just by seeing them smile at each other.

I could only pray to the moon goddess that she would allow their love.

A small gasp escaped my lips as I took in my surroundings.

A tent was set up by the water with our pack sitting and talking with each other smiles plastered on their faces as they ate.

The grey skies weren't even noticeable with the light lilies floating in the lake, twinkly lights wrapped around the trees. And a bonfire a couple feet away from the tent.

"Thank you." I breathed out hugging Marina as she jogged up to us.

"Don't mention it." She grinned kissing my cheek.

"So is it how you expected it?" Adrian asked joining our group as he wrapped his arm around Marina's waist.

"No." I said truthfully.

"I thought you two were going to make it a typical baby shower you know. With the chair and the games and everybody touching my belly." I groaned rubbing my belly, smiling as I felt my little peanut kick.

"You forget we're sisters. I'd hate being the center of attention. I could only imagine you." She joked.

"I mean I promise you can just hang out and relax - no games or anything. But people are going to want to rub that belly." She said pointing at my tummy.

Pouting I held onto my belly making the trio laugh.

"Mommy!" Zoey squealed running through the tables with Joey, Sunny and Natalia following after.

"Whoa slow down there Princess!" Caleb picked her up swinging her up into his arms making her giggle.

Scrunching my nose I looked at the trio, trying to figure out where he had popped out from.

"Daddy stop it!" Zoey laughed wiggling out of Caleb's hold.

Her hair widely flying around as she wiggled and the wind picked up.

The twins now looked like they were around ten years old. They were aging fast - but slower than Jossie and Dominic aged. According to Jossie.

It pained me seeing them grow so fast.

"Hi Mom, how's your belly?" Joey asked as he laid his palm on my belly. As to check if I was truly okay.

"We're good baby. Your sibling is just kicking up a storm in there." I smiled slightly leaning down to kiss the top of his mop of curls.

"Okay." He nodded before giving me a sweet smile turning to Jake and giving him a one arm hug.

I laughed as Caleb pretended to be dragged down by the girls. Groaning in pain as the girls giggled.

"Come on let me up ladies please! I've got my woman to care for!" He begged pouting at the girls.

Slowly the let him up grinning up at him.

"Thank you. You ladies deserve ice cream." He winked before pointing at Desiree. Our cook.

Immediately the girls took off, Joey rushing after them.

"I'm not taking care of them tonight." I laughed as Caleb wrapped his arm around my waist, his hands rubbing the sides of my belly. His lips kissing my mark making my legs buckle slightly at the feeling.

I could feel him smile making a blush tint my cheeks.

"Yo' you already have one in then oven." Vivian joked as she joined us. Baby River cooing in her arms.

"We're going to keep baking, thank you very much Viv." Caleb smirked pulling my body tighter against his.

"Caleb!" I could already feel my face heating as the group let out wolf whistles and laughs making the rest of the pack look our way.

"Okay you guys cut it out. I'm sure Ari is tired. Walking over here and standing for so long." Vivian stepped in as she motioned for us to follow her to our seats.

Once we were all seated. I almost moaned at the feeling of putting the weight off my feet.

Almost as if knowing I was now seated, my baby began to move kicking in the process.

Huffing out a breath I clutched onto my belly waiting until the pain went away.

"You okay babe?" Caleb frowned leaning over to rub my belly.

Wincing I nodded before another pain hit me.

"Water. Can you please get me some water?" I wheezed.

Immediately he stood to his feet. Kissing the top of my head before rushing off.

Seconds later, my mother sat down with a plastic cup filled with water.

"Here I took this from Caleb." She smiled rubbing my back as I slowly drank the water.

"How's the baby?"

Breathing in I absentmindedly rubbed my belly as I smiled at my mother.

"The baby's a kicker." Laughing she kissed the side of my head. "You were too darling."

"Jackson have you seen Caleb?" I asked as I stepped from foot to foot.

Frowning he shook his head. "Not for about thirty minutes sweetie. Why? Are you feeling ill?" He questioned standing to his feet.

Shaking my head, "No sit down I'm okay. I was just wondering. Thank you." I smiled waiting until he sat down before continuing my search.

A silent hush ran through the lake making me look around trying to figure out the reason why.

"Ariana Rosette Belle."

And there was the reason why.

My face heated as everyone turned to look at me as Caleb walked over to me.

He was no longer wearing his black jeans and grey long sleeve. He was now dressed in a suit, it was fitted hugging his arms and chest.

Our kids were slightly behind him all dressed up.

Joey was sporting a suit familiar to his daddy

While the girls had matching light pink dresses, their feet bare and their hair loose.

"What are you doing?" I whispered a slight giggle escaping my lips.

"I am trying to do something I have been preparing for weeks. And every time I try I end up making a fool of myself. Like at breakfast. And I finally think this is the perfect moment so hush baby." He smiled biting the side of his cheek as he breathed in.

Zipping my lips I nodded for him to continue. Wrapping my hands around my belly as the baby began to kick.

"I know in the beginning I wasn't much of a mate. I was a fool and hard headed. And I thought I had the world in the palm of my hand. I did a lot of idiotic things. Hurting you was one of the stupidest things I have ever done. But you, my goddess, you babe made me see that the world didn't revolve around me."

"You made me the happiest guy when you gave me these two." He smiled pointing at the twins who perked up and grinned at me.

"And then your love for this pack, for our people. You brought two more girls into our lives and I'm not going to lie. I was scared shitless." Chuckled echoed through the lake as I glared at him pointing at the kids.

Mouthing a 'sorry' he continued.

"Caring for four kids. I thought we weren't ready. But you managed it with so much ease and love. It made me fall for you all over again." Biting down on my lip I tried to keep in my tears as he looked at our kids.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love you so much Ariana Rosette Belle. I love that you challenge me in everything. Whilst is be cooking, running, getting the kids to shower." We all laughed as the kids pouted at us.

"I love that you try and control how much chocolate I eat. Or hide the strawberries for yourself. I love that you sing our kids to sleep. I love that you keep me on my toes every day. I love that you watch over our pack with such love and gentleness. I love that you are carrying another of our pups. And I know that since we mates you are stuck with me for life." He said making a sour face at the end making me giggle.

"But I wanted for us to do this completely. So will you- my beautiful mate, Ariana Rose-"

"Yes! Yes! Of course!" I choked rushing over to him helping him stand. Wrapping my arms around his neck I pulled him down kissing him.

I could hear cheers and claps erupt but at that moment it was only me and him.

"I was going to get down on my knee and Pop the ring out." He pouted against my lips. Laughing I kissed the pout away.

Pulling away he wiped away the stray tears before taking out a velvet box.

Before he could open it I grunted in pain. Looking down at my legs i grimaced feeling the water go down my thighs, pooling around my feet.

"Caleb." I breathed out wide eyed.

"Did mommy just pee?" Sunny whispered.

"Ariana is it -"

"Oh goddess it's time!"

Shutting my eyes shut in pain I could hear everyone moving around in panic.

"It's okay baby I've got you." Caleb whispered picking my up in his arms as he began to run. The pack shortly following.

I wanted to whine for him to put me down. I was wet like I had peed and I was heavy but the pain was too much for me to care.

Minutes later I was laid onto the bed, my dress was replaced with a hospital gown.

"Caleb, don't faint on me okay." I begged my hold on his arm tightening.

"Of course I won't Ariana." He scoffed kissing my hand as he squirmed beside me.

Hours later, just as the storm hit, our baby boy Ezekiel Ryder Felix was born. Eight thirty PM. At seven pounds three ounces. He was the cutest baby. He had Caleb's dark brown hair, my nose, Caleb's lips and my eyes.

And of course Caleb fainted. I'll give it to him though. He waited until our baby was securely wrapped in my arms before he toppled down.

But he regained consciousness as Ezekiel began to whine. Feeding him I leaned back just as our kids walked in with my sisters.

After I was sure he was full, I burped him and passed him gently to Caleb.

His eyes misted over as he moved to sit in the couch motioning for the kids to follow.

The room quickly filled in. Everybody began to coo at Ezekiel.

"How are you feeling babe?" Caleb whispered coming to my side.

Scooting over I made him lay next to me as I laid my head on his chest.

"I'm just so happy he's finally here." I smiled kissing his chest as I looked at Adrian holding Ezekiel while looking at Marina with wide hopeful eyes.

"Here." Taking my left hand in his he slid on my ring onto my ring finger.

It was simple, the diamond was a rain drop shaped with the gold band twisting around my finger, light blue diamonds in between the twists.

"It's beautiful." I smiled as a tear slipped down my cheek.

Reaching up I kissed him putting as much emotion as I possibly could.

"I love you." Smiling against his lips I nodded in agreement.

"I love you too"
