Trouble stirs

I kept getting a persistent call from someone so I finally gathered the strength and stood up from the couch to grab my phone.

Surprisingly and unsurprisingly, It was from my father.

"Hello," I answered the phone.

"I told you to stay away from The Alma's kid," Dad growled.

????

One line and I was confused as hell.

"What?"

"Haven't you learned your lesson? Or did growing up together mess with your mind!!?" Well, I knew for a fact that dad was furious, but I had no idea for what reason.

"Dad?" I had no idea what he was onto, "What are you even talking about?"

"Didn't you see the pictures!?"

"What pictures!!?" I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

"Open your Goddamn phone!!" He yelled at me and I brought the phone away from my ear to look at the pictures or whatever he was talking about. I opened the text app and saw what he had sent me and all my confusion blew away, "Oh,"

"Your teacher sent it to me." Dad's stern voice got sterner.

"Dad it's an old photo." I sighed as I tried to explain it to him, "It's from a class play!" I rolled my eyes, "It means nothin-"

"I don't care." He growled as he cut me off, "You come home this instant!!" He slammed the phone shut and I suppressed the urge to send my phone flying across the room.

Arrrghhh!

Mr. Owen probably sent the pictures of the play to all of the families but the issue is most likely only going to be with my dad since Mael and I got caught before.

I let out a deep agitated sigh. Maybe this time things will be different since Mael and I have sorted out a lot of things.

"Is something wrong?" Mael entered the dorm, "You look troubled." He walked into the lounge.

"It's not supposed to be, but," I showed him the picture of us kissing on stage.

"Oh," He paused, then a blush spread across his face and that made me feel better.

Cute.

"Dad's asking me to come back to explain this." I closed my phone and put it in my pocket.

He didn't meet my gaze, "I see," He took out his phone, "My dad didn't say anything though..."

Considering the fact that Mike doesn't know anything, he's got no reason to react, and Rachel's in the hospital.

"Well," I walked to him, "I'll meet you later then."

He didn't look at me directly, "Un," His shy reply was adorably endearing. I stood right in front of him and could see the blush on his face.

Cute~ He's gotten more conscious after confessing to me. I can't control myself!! I want to squeeze this thing in my arms!

I leaned in closer to his face, "You kissed me this morning." I whispered next to his ear and watched his face turn bright red.

He shot his head at me and finally looked at my face, "You were awake?!?!"

Ah~ This is so lovely! But I kept a straight face on.

I leaned in further and watched as the redness spread to his ears, "The real question is, why the cheek? Why not the lips?!" His pupils began to shake as I closed the distance between us

"Ah! That," He gulped, "T-that," He fumbled with his words and stepped back in confusion.

"What?" I stood up straight, "It's not like we haven't kissed before."

He gripped the bottom of his shirt tightly and looked down, "We have," He whispered. His lips pouted a little, as a result of which his cheeks swelled slightly which also resulted in my heart squealing like crazy because the view from the top was overwhelmingly enticing.

"Then?" I smirked.

"I'm going to sleep," He chose an escape plan and turned around to run to the bedroom, "Bye-bye!!" He slammed the door behind him and I couldn't help but chuckle.

I stood outside the Alpha Academy, unsure whether I should go in and confront Mael or not.

Since the moment I met Mael, I've been giving him hints of wanting to be his mate but he never showed any interest. All this time I thought he was just dense but in reality, he was just having fun.

I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists but still, he might have his reason for hiding that he's an omega and it's not like I can't marry an omega... But even for an omega, he's too pretty.

Doubt began to cloud my head.

He might as well be a girl.

I shook my head.

I shouldn't jump to conclusions. I could be wrong.

"Argh!" The sound of someone groaning made me look at the two Alpha females coming out of the Academy, "I can't believe we got expelled." I moved to the side to give them space to leave.

"This is all because of Mael," My ears perked up when I heard that name and I sensed the malice coming from the two females.

Were they angry at Mael? Well, I did hear they both got expelled because of him so I'm sure they'd want revenge.

"And Eli that jerk, I know he gave Mr. Owen that video." The black-haired female said, "I want to beat the shit out of him all over again." They crossed the gate and were about to turn and go to their car when I mustered up the courage to stop them.

"Um," I extended my hand toward them, "Excuse me!"

They stopped and looked at me.

"What?" They raised their brows at me in annoyance and it scared me a little.

"I have something to tell you." I gulped and looked down, "It's about Mael." I paused, "Something bad."

"What is it?" They both seemed very interested and I instantly knew I was right. They won't pass up any opportunity to have revenge, "It better be something worth our time."

If I'm wrong, these people might as well prove me wrong when they confront Mael. I won't have to interfere at all. "Well, he's been lying to everyone." I smiled. If Alphas confront him properly, he won't be able to escape and I'll have my answers.

They looked at each other and then back at me, "How so?"

If he's really an omega, he'll be exposed and condemned, then I can go and comfort him and make him fall for me. If he isn't, there won't be any need to worry about anything.

"He's actually an omega, pretending to be an Alpha."

"What?" Their eyes went wide, "Are you sure?"

I nodded, "Can I have your names?"

"Angeli,"

"Wendy," She folded her arms, "Now on with it."

I nodded, "You might have seen him taking some sort of pills, they're heat pills."

"Oh! My! God!" Angeli laughed, "He might as well be a girl!"

Upon hearing that, I found myself wondering about it again. Considering he has so many secrets, could his gender be one too? Well, now that I've told two people who are angry at him. I know the truth will be out soon.

"Classes have ended today." Angeli placed her hand on my shoulder, "So we'll delay it for tomorrow."

"Horis and Harry are joining classes again too." Wendy smirked, "It'll be better like this."

"Delay what for tomorrow?" I asked.

The girls looked at each other and then laughed, "Thanks for telling us this darling." Wendy softly pinched my cheek, "You can go home now." They both began to leave.

"Hey!" I tried to stop them, "What are you planning?!"

"It's not your concern anymore." They smirked back at me, "But we got our answers." They got into their cars and left without telling me anything.

And while I got a dreadful feeling, I just shook my head and tried to drown it.

I didn't do anything wrong.

Mael's the one lying to everyone else.
