Chapter 871 Stop Worrying About Her
Trapped in Love
Eleanor glanced around, sighing helplessly as she fixed her gaze on Liora.
âWhy didnât you listen to me, dear?â she asked.
Naively, Liora extended her hands toward Eleanor. âAre you my grandmother?â
Eleanor nodded. âYeah, dear. Youâre so pretty, and your brothers are so handsome. I love you guys so much.â
âWhy did you come here out of the blue, Grandma?â Liora continued with her questions.
Eleanor explained gently, âIâm here to take your greatâgrandfather away.â
âYouâre going to take him away?â Liora tilted her head. âWhere is he going?â
âA place where he can meet up with your greatâgrandmother,â Eleanor added.
âNo!â Liora shook her head. âYouâre so pretty and gentle. I want you to stay, Grandma!â
âNo, I canât, dear. We have our world, and we canât stay with you guys, or you guys will have to pay an unimaginable price.â
âA price?â Liora was puzzled. âWhat do you mean? Why canât they see you, Grandma?â
Eleanor looked down. âItâs because I donât belong to this world.â
Bending over, she met Lioraâs eyes. âWhen you grow up and master the skills, come and help me pass over, okay, dear?â
Although Liora didnât understand what that meant, she nodded obediently. âOkay.â
Satisfied, Eleanor smiled and looked at Caroline and Neil.
âHelp me pass on a message, dear. Ask your mother not to be angry at me. Iâm so sorry that she has suffered so much these years.
âAnd tell your Uncle Nell to take care and rest. He shouldnât work until late at night. I feel very sorry for him.
âAlso, tell your Grandaunt Greta that Iâm good. Ask her not to worry about me. Plusâ¦â In the end, Eleanor started shedding red tears.
It scared Liora, but she tried to act cool since it was her grandmother. âWhat is it, Grandma?â
âPlusâ¦â Eleanor wiped away her tears. âTell your mother and uncle that I love them very much. I love them. to the moon and backâ¦â
Liora gave a firm nod. âOkay, Iâll pass them on. Can you stay a little longer, Grandma?â
âNo, I canât,â Eleanor confessed. âIâm so glad to see you guys today, dear. Iâm leaving now.â
Reluctantly, Liora pursed her lips. âIâll listen to you, Grandma. Please wait for me.â
âOkay, Iâll wait for you.â
After Eleanor had left, Liora turned to Caroline and roughly recounted what had happened.
Bitterness engulfed Caroline, and she couldnât help crying.
Although she had never met her mother, she was heartbroken when she heard the message.
After that, Liora looked at Neil. âUncle Neil, Grandma asked me to tell you not to work until late at night.
She feels very sorry for you.â
Stunned, Neil bit his lips tightly after a while. His scarlet eyes showed he was trying to suppress his feelings.
âOkayâ¦â Neilâs voice was shaky. âIâll listen to my mother.â
Then Liora looked at Greta. âGrandaunt Greta, Grandma asked you guys not to worry about her because sheâs doing very well.â
Greta failed to hold back her tears again.
Collapsing on the armchair, she buried her head and cried piteously.
Watching them, Liora sighed melancholily, but she didnât know why.
Tyler looked at Liora. âWas that all?â
Liora dwelled on it briefly and said proudly, âGrandma called me dear!â
