Chapter 14 Day 1 : Hospital

Things seemed to be normal again for Sophie in the morning although the battle was no where near over as when she tried to stand up she realized she had no feeling whatsoever of her right foot , she knew this was abnormal and just as she was about to press the buzzer for a nurse the doctors walked in to check sophie , So when they asked if there was anything diffrent than normal she explained

"yes i have no feeling of my right foot from knee down "

So just to test the doctors got a long sharp needle like thing and pricked her in various places to see if she would have a reaction or feel anything , She felt everything when they did it to the left side but not to the right , So it was determined yet again it was unsafe for her to walk and she was bed ridden for the day .

So for the whole day she chatted with the 4 people in her ward , an old lady , a lady in her fourtys or fiftys who also was from her town , and another lady in her fourtys . This was rather hard for sophie as she was a fifteen year old girl , with mild cerebral palsy stuck in a room with people at least double to quadruple her age .

(sorry this chapter is short as not much happened throughout this day , i remember i did have 2 minor 3 minute long seizures which i was put on oxegan for one of them this day , but i didn't know what exactly to write about them )

Ps : Sorry i havnt been writing ive been ill(not going into details), aswell as i have exams....
