Sir Your Wife Already Signed the Divorce Paper
Chapter 222 Imogen Really Doesnât Want You Anymore
Seeing the chatting between the two, Grace lightly grunted and got up to the restroom. She dialed Troyâs phone quietly and whispered, âTroy, Iâm at Imogenâs house right now.â
âIâll pick you up now?â Troyâs voice came from the cellphone.
âWell. Troy, I⦠I feelâ¦â said Grace.
Troy asked, âWhat do you feel?â
Grace answered, âI feel like youâre running out of chances.â
Troy paused and asked, âWhat happened when you were eating today?â
âImogen was focused on talking to Erik and ignored me. After lunch, Imogen didnât say no when he invited Imogen to go to the movies with him.â
When saying this, Grace wasnât nervous in the slightest.
Troy stayed silent for a few seconds and continued, âAnything else?â
He thought, âDoes Imogen really like Erik?â
He always felt that something was wrong.
âAnd I wanted to spend more of his money, so I ordered many dishes. But Imogen told me not to trick him, saying⦠that they might get married later. If I keep doing that, sheâll alienate me. Then, they just made a date to have dinner together next time. By the way, Erik even hugged Imogen!â Though it was because Imogen almost fellâ¦
No sound came from the other end of the phone for a long time.
Grace was about to say something when Imogenâs voice suddenly came from outside. âGrace, are you okay?â
Grace said hurriedly, âImogen, Iâm pooping! It stinks!â
Imogen said, âOh, let me know when itâs over. Iâll wipe your butt.â
Grace blushed and said, âImogen, I can do it myself!â
She thought, âHmph, Imogen underestimates me too much!â
Listening to the sound of footsteps leaving outside, Grace whispered to her watch, âTroy, Imogen really doesnât want you anymore. You gotta do something quickly. Call you back.â
She touched the watch screen with her little chubby hand and hung up the phone.
Hearing the sound, Imogen looked up at Grace coming out of the restroom and said with a smile, âGrace is awesome. You can wipe your butt!â
Grace was speechless.
Imogenâs cell phone rang a few minutes later, calling from Troy.
Picking up, Imogen said faintly and directly, âWhatâs the matter?â
Troy said, âWhere are you now? Iâll pick up Grace.â
Imogen answered indifferently, âMy house.â
âOkay, IâH be right there.â
Troy didnât want to betray Grace, so he had to make a phone call for the show.
Twenty minutes later, the doorbell rang outside the door.
Imogen guessed that Troy had arrived, but she was still wary and asked behind the door, âWho is
it?â
âItâs me, Troy.â Troyâs voice came from outside.
Imogen opened the door without looking at him and turned her head inside. âGrace, Troy is here to pick you up.â
Troy silently followed her in and closed the door smoothly.
âTroy!â
you come so
With Mochi in her arms, Grace ran out and pretended to complain, âTroy, why did early? I havenât played enough yet! Can you sit on the sofa and wait for me for a while?â âWell, go have fun. Iâll wait for you.â
Grace hugged Mochi and ran to Imogenâs bedroom. âLetâs go, Mochi. Iâll get you cat treats to eat.â As she went in, she gave Troy a wink.
She pretended to get cat treats for Mochi to give him and Imogen space.
Glancing at Imogenâs indifferent expression, Troy calmly walked over to the sofa and sat down. âDo you mind?â
âWill you leave if I say yes?â Imogen asked coolly with her arms crossed over her chest.
âNo,â replied Troy.
âThen why did
you ask?â
Imogen turned around and went into the kitchen after saying that.
Troy smiled as he looked at Imogenâs back, and a trace of a smile also flashed under his eyes.
Such Imogen was quite different from before, but he inexplicably found her cute.
Two minutes later, Imogen came out with a cup of coffee and placed it in front of him expressionlessly.
âThanks.â Picking up the coffee, Troy raised his head and looked at her brightly.
As if she didnât see it, Imogen turned around and sat to the side, picking up her camera to check the photos taken that day.
To be honest, she hadnât thought of a theme for the photo contest yet. She was just trying to find. the feeling now.
She watched seriously, concentrating.
Suddenly, she felt an itch in her left ear.
Imogen reached out and squeezed it, continuing to look through the photos.
Her right ear itched again.
She raised her hand and squeezed it.
But her left ear was still itchy and hot, and her earlobe turned red involuntarily.
She thought, âSomething is wrong.â
She sat up straight suddenly. As soon as she turned around, she found that Troy had come behind her at some point, with his hands propped up on the back of the sofa, leaning down to blow into
her ear.
Imogenâs earlobes reddened, gradually spreading to the roots of her ears. She said furiously, âTroy,
whatâs your problem?â
She wasnât good at cursing and always said this.
With a trace of a smile under his eyes, Troy said with a playful expression, âYes, I have the lovesickness of being bored when I canât see you.â
Imogen said nothing but thought, âWhere did he learn to say such nasty things? Itâs disgusting.â
She ignored him and turned away.
âImogen,â Troy called to stop her.
Imogen felt he had nothing good to say, so she walked forward as if she didnât hear him.
Troy said, âDonât rush away. I have something to tell you about Grace.â
Only then did Imogen stop and turn to look at him with a questioning face. âWhat is it?â Troy responded, âLetâs sit down and talk.â
Imogen sat down at the farthest end of the couch as if she was a galaxy away from him. âGo ahead.â
Troy pursed his lips and paused for a few seconds before saying, âGrace spoke to Emily on Wednesday night. Knowing that you cared for Grace during those two days, Emily was dissatisfied and made a scene, scaring Grace into tears.â
Imogen subconsciously glanced toward the bedroom.
She had known for a long time that Emily didnât like her, but she didnât expect it would affect Grace.
She said, âIâm sorry. I didnât think it through very well. Itâs better to let Grace come over less often in the future.â
She knew that even if Grace liked her, she could not compare to Emily in Graceâs heart.
She didnât want to make things difficult for Grace, or ruin the relationship between Grace and Emily.
âThatâs not what I mean,â Troy looked into her eyes and said seriously, âI have plans to keep Grace in New York. What do you think?â
Imogen looked at Troy in surprise. âWhy do you suddenly think so? Will Grace agree to stay? Will Emily agree to Grace to stay?â
In fact, after that night, Emily called Marshall villa when she couldnât get through to him. She reluctantly apologized to Troy, and Layla persuaded him to forgiveness.
Troy didnât make a statement.
After the idea of keeping Grace in the country was raised, it never faded.
One of the reasons was that Grace was smart and cute, and the whole family loved her. Layla was old and loved children. Yesterday, when he brought Grace back to Marshall villa, Layla was very happy, and Grace would also make Layla happy.
The other was out of his personal desire. Imogen couldnât have any more children and was so fond of Grace. He wanted to make her happy.
Moreover, Grace could maintain the relationship between him and Imogen so that they wouldnât become strangers.
Of course, it was ultimately up to Graceâs choice.

Troy replied, âIâve already told Emily to let Grace choose when the vacation ends. If she wants to stay with me, weâll let her study here.â
Although Emily did not agree, it did not matter.
Imogen nodded and said, âOkay. Donât force Grace when the time comes. Emily is the closest person to her.â
