Chapter 9 | stroke of luck

As soon as I reached the hospital, all the staff were with their very serious faces. I don't know what happened with them, I have to know what's going on so I asked Sister Mary while checking my schedule.

"What's going on Miss Mary."

"Dr Ashika you came everyone is waiting for you and Mr. Mehra has immediately called you in the meeting room. It is a very important matter." She said with serious tone

Oh God, what happened now? Something always happens in this hospital, and as always I am stuck, pata nahi ab kya chahiye ise budhe ko. With this thought I reached the meeting room. As I entered and saw everyone was already present so, I understand it's definitely gonna be a serious matter.

"Good morning sir, why did you call me? is there anything important?"

" Yes Dr Ashika, First you sit, after that I'll tell you all the reason behind the meeting." He said with a tense expression

"What's going on Rishi, why is your dad so serious?"

"I don't know Rose, As soon as I reached the hospital, dad immediately called me here." He said with an annoyed face

"Ok let's see what's going on."

"The reason for calling you like this is the son of the city's MLA, You all must know Raghuvendra Singh, his son Mihir has been admitted to our hospital today.

"So you want us to serve them?" Aarohi's voice comes from behind.

"Dr. Aarohi, first listen to me completely and then speak, next time this mistake should not be repeated." Dean said with a serious tone.

This girl Aarohi always gets in trouble,

Can't she be quiet for a while? I mumbled

"Ya you are right this pig is totally a psycho."

Rishi whispered into my ears and I thought he had not heard me but how can I forget that he has a tho bunny ear.

"stay calm and listen to me. the boy Mihir is only eight years old and he suffering from glioneuronal tumor(dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor) it's growing with slow rate but it's harmful for child so I want my best doctors for this surgery Because we all know Raghuvendra Singh very well. If anything happens to the child, the reputation of our hospital will be badly affected. So Dr Ashika and Dr Rishi You are the best neurologist in our hospital, so I want both of you to perform this surgery. I provide you with the best team for this. And miss Arohi you deal with the situation after surgery. Am I clear?"

"Yes sir." We replied

" Rishi what do you think about this situation?"

" Well Rose I'm excited, don't worry we will handle this." He replied while going through the case.

"Well mail me the case file. I will read it carefully and discuss it with you. And we will start this operation by the day after tomorrow at any cost."

He just hummed. Then I went to complete all my operations for the day.

I'm so exhausted let's study the case Ashika. but my phone disturbed me. Who is calling me now?

I didn't realize, it would take so much time. Don't worry I'll be there in a while.

> Ok come fast.

I was so, indulged in my work I haven't released time. But that case is not so easy it has some issues I have to discuss with Rishi but I'll do it later. With that I got in my car and drove straight to her office.

"Hyy miss, I'm Ashika, Will you please tell Miss Trisha that I have come?"

"Sure ma'am just for a while." She replied politely.

I had to ask her, I don't know where this girl keeps her phone.

I'm really pissed today. My mind was filled with the thought of her with that fucking piece of shit. All that going on in my mind was, How much they both would have enjoyed together.

i wish i was in his place. Fuck I can't even imagine her being with someone, my mind was already messed up and that client just made it worst, I don't know why they come when they don't understand the deal. But somehow I managed them.

Then miss Trisha she is so fucking annoying , don't know what's wrong with her she always create some problem, I fucking swear to God if she is not my love best friend then I would have blown her away with my bullets long ago. Right now I'm out of control I have to calm myself but that only happens when she is with me. without her I can't control my emotions. Otherwise something worse will happen. I need her now.

I was thinking about how to meet my love, then I saw a girl, she seemed familiar to me. When she trun around 'Oh fuck' What is she doing here at this time? But as soon as I saw her, my whole world stopped, I couldn't see anyone except her. As if my restless heart has found peace. I felt, as if there had never been any problem, sorrow or pain in my life.She is like a ray of light in my dark life.

I moved towards her but didn't take my eyes off her even for a minute. Her presence works like a medicine for me.

"Hello Dr Ashika, what are you doing here at that time?" She flinched with my sudden action.

"Oh hii Mr Randhawa, you are here." She asked hesitated

"Well this is my company and I think you are aware of that."

"I know but I didn't expect you here at this time." She replied with a confused expression.

" I was about to leave but when I saw you I thought of asking. By the way what are you doing here?"

"Nothing I just came here to pick up Trisha." She said. Fucking Trisha she is the biggest problem in my romantic life.

"Did you say anything?" She asked

"Did you hear anything?"

"No but i thought you were cursing someone a lot."she said while giggling. Fuck her giggles is my favourite melody ever. It brings a small smile on my lips.

"No, I wasn't cursing anyone, my love." I mumbled the last line.

"Since you are here, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"can you go out with me." As soon as I asked, she seemed a little nervous. I might have made her feel uncomfortable. Fuck you Aahan.

"Don't feel uncomfortable lov-_ Dr Ashika I just asked you for dinner. Remember I asked you for a treat, and you said I would think about it and tell you. But you didn't call me."

"But Mr Randhawa, I have just returned from the hospital and I'm not even ready properly."she replied.

"Please, not today it's just dinner. And as far as your dress up is concerned, then i must say, you are very beautiful even without doing anything. And I mean it. You are an angel, the most beautiful angel I have ever seen."

When I said her angel she blushed, her chubby cheeks turned pink, She is biting her soft lips to suppress her alluring smile. Fuck don't do this baby it's mine to bite. And right now I'm so fucking desperate to kiss her until she begged me to let her go, but somehow I control myself.

"So what's your answer?"

"Ok, but let me inform her about this." She said while typing something on her phone.

"Dr Ashika are you done, then let go." She just hummed and I took her to the car.

"David, You can go today, I will drive myself."

"But boss Vihan Sir said not to let you drive when you have an angry attac--

"I'm your boss just do as I say."

"Boss"

"Enough, Get lost from here or it won't be good." How did he know I got an anger attack? No one has the courage to order me. How dare he? I was fuming in anger but suddenly, she called me.

"Mr Randhawa are you fine? Don't be angry, it is not good for your health, calm down and take a deep breath."

When she said, I just followed her instructions. And my anger gradually subsided. I don't know what magic she holds inside her, She does what no one else can do. And Even my anger succumbs to it. She is my queen and I'm ready to become a slave for her.

"Mr Randhawa where were you lost? Let's go we are getting late. And you know I haven't given you much time." She said with her mischievous smirk.

Oh fuck, this girl will be reason of my death some day.

"Yes miss Ashika I know you haven't given me much time. Come this way." I told her while opening the car door.

We were quiet the whole way, no one said anything. In fact I didn't say anything. I don't know why whenever she's with me I get nervous and shy. My heart goes wild. Today when she's so close to me and we both are alone, it creates different kinds of sensation inside my body. I felt like I'm going crazy. It's just fucking incredible feeling I ever get.

"Here, we are."

"Oh God Mr Randhawa, why did you bring me here? It is so fucking expensive, I mean so expensive resturant. No no, I won't let you spend so much money." She said with wide eyes.

My baby is so considerate. But she doesn't know that all my money, my earnings are nothing compared to her happiness. And my love, I would even sacrifice my entire life for you.

"Dr Ashika calm down, it's not that expensive."

"Mr Randhawa I know it's not that expensive for you. But for me it is."

"Dr Ashika this is yours I mean, this is my restaurant so, there is no problem." ' What's mine is yours and I am also yours: I said the last line slowly."

"Really! Mr Randhawa, do you know this is my favourite restaurant." She replied giggling like a child.

That's why I bought it just for you. I mumbled while admiring her alluring smile.

"Then, why don't you want to go here?"

"It's not like that, I don't wanna go but you know this is the most expensive and luxurious hotel." She sounds a little bit sad.

"You know when I first came here?I felt like I had come to heaven. It seemed, as if the wall of the hotel was screamed out royalty. I was just mesmerized by its beauty. And I was very tempted to make this lavish beauty mine. But how can it be mine now that it's already yours?

She's looking very pretty while explaining the details of the hotel. The sparkle in her eyes showed how much she liked this hotel. And here I'm the idiot, who is feeling jealous of an inanimate thing, for the first time in my life. But what should I do, the way my love is feeling so attracted towards this inanimate thing, I feel like turning the walls of that hotel into ashes with my hands. I'm just waiting for the day when my baby feels so attracted to me.

"Where are you lost Mr Randhawa, I have been calling you for so long and you are not listening.

you even listened to me or I'm just,who kept blabbering like this?" She told me angrily.

Don't look at me like that love, even your anger is so tempting me.

"I heard everything you said my lady. And where did I dare to ignore a gorgeous woman.

And you know I don't want to listen to anyone except you. My heart, my mind is only filled with thoughts of you, it has no time for others."

"I just said it, kaha aap Dil or dimag pe chale gaye. I only talked about making the hotel my own. I don't know what you are thinking." She said with her flatter face.

"Come on, let's go inside, you have invited me for dinner and not for breakfast. You talk a lot Mr Randhawa."

SHe started going inside smiling. Now how can I tell her? How much did I suffer for these talks? And I am eager to tell you that the hotel which you wanted to make yours became yours the day you set your eyes on it. But I don't know how to tell you this. But never mind, that opportunity will come soon

"You are still lost in the same thoughts. Come quickly, I don't have much time." She shout.

"Coming Dr Ashika."

God! She is my lioness, only she has the courage to rule over Aahan Singh Randhawa.
