The three are now digging the foundation of the house.

Their father decided to make the simplest design to ensure safety and also to shorten the time they'll need in making a house. After considering the pros and cons. They started to make the plan to work.

The busiest one is Xavier crossing from here to there. He also realize that he can actually bring something from his ancient side to the modern side.

If not, how can he explain how he cross worlds with clothes on.

But the size weight is small. Only 2 kilos worth of item can he bring.

He then start building a temporary family sized tent that they will used while the construction is underway.

His sister been watching cartoons happily and ask him alot of toys once the house is made. Of course he promises her something like that while teasing her.

His mother is inlove with the gas stove. Seeing her happily turning it on and off and chuckling makes him laugh merrily.

They are only four men so the construction of their house will be delayed and might get attention from the villagers if it took too long to make. But Xavier's worry is really unfounded. It seems nobody cared about their family as nobody even try to visit them in the past 2 months.

Since the house is simple, it is taking shape now with their elder brothers diligence.

"Third brother?"

Harvey asks while he is fanning himself as he sits on the ground they are taking breaks.

Xavier is sitting like a nobleman. Straight posture as his eyes are squinting thinking deeply.

"I am thinking. If I can bring things from here to the other side and the other side to this world. I can also make the door smaller and larger base on its size...."

"What are you mulling about?" Julius, their father, asks.

"How about I tried to make an extension power of electricity through here and the other side?"

"I thought you want to used solar panels." His father also sits down on the ground from fatigue.

Gerald sits next to Xavier.

Cheska who is watching her drama stands up and went to get water for his siblings and father.

Their mother is cooking their lunch.

"Solar panels are good but I heard it is not going to be effective at night. And I am meaning to bring fridge,television and other electric stuffs to make our life easier.

Sides mom will love them." He said thinking hard. If he can't bring everyone to the other side. Bringing the other sides benefit is not bad.

For his family, it will be worth it.

"Water too." His dad said. It is not bad to drink from the river but when it is too cold to go outside(they have four seasons in this side so winter is a real unlucky year) to fetch a water you also have to heat it to be use to wash clothes and dishes which will consume more fire woods. It's simply too laborous.

The two who enjoyed the simple but luxurious benefit of a modern world sighs. While their siblings and sons look confuse.

"We will try. But do not worry too much if it can't be done."

Julius said rubbing Xavier's head.

"Okay Dad."

"It'll be cool if things from the other side will be brought here but do not worry too much." Gerald said.

"I know."

"Lunch is ready." Their mother went and told them.

They all stood up to wash their hands and went to the tent as their temporary home.

Between brakes. They will all help in restoring their field.

Removing rocks and putting the soil meant for planting that Xavier bought from the other side.

Julius also told him to bring his farming tools and buy his fertilizers.

Everyday they will work and laugh without feeling the burden of tiredlessly working daily.

They will eat till they are full and sleep soundly.

Since their field is near them. They do not need to go to the village and socialize. And since nobody visit them, it is more convenient.

Still they used 8 months of hard work to complete the work. The house looks made out of wood from the outside but if you feel them, they are actually concrete.

The inside is just a a hollow space that is just divided in to the living room, the kitchen(another extension of a dirty kitchen outside), the bedrooms, the bathroom and the comfort room.

Still this is really amazing work the floor is tiled using a light wooden style floor tile. The walls are painted white or cream. The bedrooms are also hollow rooms with one large window with a sliding glass panel each.

For safety reasons they put a metal grills outside the window glass panel.

It is warmer inside now.

Though they are very simple. The family thinks it is classy and only some rich people in the capital can own something like this.

But that is just the beginning.

When they construct the house Xavier has tried to make the wiring ready. He didn't tell it to his brothers or sister even their mother.

Only his father and him knows what they are putting those wires for.

"Mom, try clicking this button." Xavier said.

Layla looks around and also see the others confusion.

She flicks it and a lights turn on.

She almost scream in fright only for a second.

"This is what you've been testing this last few months?" Gerald laughs and also flick the other lights on.

"I will expain how these suckets work." His father said and explain the details. How it works,not to make it wet, not to touch it with bare hands.

While Xavier pull Cheska in the kitchen.

"You turn it on while sliding this handle to the right and turn it off by sliding it back to its original position." He said talking about the faucet.

Cheska almost cried when she just slide the faucet handle to the right and gust of water came in. She was really frightened and angry cause everyone laughs at her.
