Lots to do

Harvey and Cheska are interested in what kind of world he and his father lived.

Xavier then told them a lot they want to know.

Cheska is fascinated and awed.

She claps her hand couple of times and frowns a lot too.

The difference in their world are too large and the mentality of a modern person can't be appreciated by the girl.

"How can that be alright?"

She often said but she keeps listening.

Harvey is a good listener but you can tell his amazement with his eyes and smiles.

Cheska is interested with those movies and wanted to ask if Xavier can retold them when the door opens.

"Dad, relax. Do not harm yourself just because of them." A sturdy taller man enter supporting the much smaller father of them.

Xavier and Harvey stood up and let the man sit on the sofa.

Julius sits on his sofa and angrily punch the cushion.

"How dare them! How dare them,,Argh!"

He is so angry. He clenched his fist together and he grinds his teeth.

"What happen Eldest Brother?" Xavier moves near him.

Gerald flinched and smiled at him. Rubbing his head.

Then he become sad again.

"Father wants to separate but matriarch made it unable to give us proper land to work on with. She gives us this place and the 4 hectares of land behind our house to plant with. Not even sharing last years harvested crops to us. And no silvers. They just plainly want us to die."

".....4 hectares are huge lands." He said with a smile. And they are just behind their house. Just like the one hectare of land his father used besides their house.

"Its not suitable for planting,third brother. It is rocky and sandy. In the fast it is a great field but when the villagers move to the other side..It become abandoned. And when they are making houses they dump the rocks and sand there so it become unable to grow plants. We tried...But...The plants that survived won't yield too much harvest."

Cheska said and looks at her hand. Maybe remembering how hard it was to plant but only get small amount of crops back.

He sighs and rubs her head.

"Dad, is that all we have?" Xavier asks.

"Yes." His father sighs

"This house is not that bad after we renovate it but how can we survive a year without food? And to transform the field back to its original glory...How much soil will we have to find in the forest?"

Layla warily sit beside Julius.

"Oh." She said and her eyes blinks.

"What's wrong with you?" Julius asks.

"I...It's too soft." She said.

Julius realize he's been sitting on his sofa at home all along.

"What? How?"

Xavier smiles.

"A year...Don't mention a year worth of food. This magician can fix the problem." He said jokingly.

"What is happening?" Layla asks..

"Mom, Third brother can go back to his original world and bring things from here."

"No! What if you can't go back?" Layla and Gerald shouted at the same time.

"Relax. I am sure that I can. I already cross three times already. With that saying. Let's eat first? We all have more options now." He said smiling.

His father is looking at him. He is proud of him as always. But he will now be their family's support so he is even more grateful.

Layla is the first one to taste the food.

When she looks happy. Everyone laughs and praise Xavier.

Xavier is really glad and they all eat.

Harvey and Gerald are grown men though they need more food. They always let their mother and sister eat more but now, they ate so large that Cheska is gawking at them.

She felt ashamed for putting her brother in the place where they can't even eat till their full.

Xavier puts more food to her plate and tell him not to worry too much.

Cheska smiles and nod.

Bad things will passed.

Good things will stay from now on.

All the sufferings will be paid off.

After the satisfying meal and desserts.

The whole family is in the living room all in a round sitting arrangement.

"We will reconstruct the house." Julius said.

"Is it possible for you to buy all the tools we need?" He asks Xavier.

"I think it'll be alright. I can make the door wider and taller. It is not a problem to carry large stuffs."

Xavier said. "The problem is we can't let outsiders help. You have experience in helping in making houses before dad but I will download some videos for references. You and elder brothers can watch it."

His father stares at him.

"You too will work."

"Urgh.." Xavier is not ditching responsibility. He is just weaker than his brothers. Carrying stuffs, he can do it willingly but the shoveling, the smashing...he really can't phantom.

Seeing him dejected, Gerald frowns.

"Father,third brother can do what he can, Harvey and I are used to hard labor."

"Yeah. We will be fine." Harvey said.

Julius frowns.

"That guy is weak because he doesn't make effort. I really blame myself for not forcing him in that club activity."

Xavier laughs.

"Oh well, this muscles are not for display. I will help alright." He said lips twitching.

"What muscles?" Cheska said grinning.

He glares at her.

"Sorry for being delicate."

The rest of the family laugh.

"All of us will help." Layla said.

Cheska is up to it.

"No." But all the boys are not okay with it.

The two ladies stare at each other and laugh.

It sure feels good to have a family that pampers you.

Till late at night Julius, Gerald and Harvey are still watching the basic house construction that Xavier downloaded on the tablet.

Julius is watching it intently for the details that is overlapping in his memory yet the other two is watching because they are amaze how this small and flat object can show a moving object.

Xavier has been sleeping because of fatigue.

Cheska and Layla was sleeping too despite wanting to also watch that thin board.
