Chapter 28

Calm

Secret Door Of The Austin's Family ()(ver.2)

“There is no carriage.” Xavier takes a deep breath.

“Don’t worry. I already went and asked to borrow Uncle Ben’s carriage in the village. His son will send it here later.” Harvey said. He puts his hand around his shoulder.

“Xavier, you have a lot of money but work so hard. Do you really have to go now? Aren’t you shocked at what happened yesterday?” Harvey looks at his hand.

“I’m still shaking everytime I think you have been eaten by the wolf.”

Xavier smiles.

“I’m fine. I’m not that fragile. Whatever happens, you still have to live. More than money, what I need more is a backer. Truthfully I was trying to hook the rich butlers in town for a while now.”

“Hook? Seducing?”

Harvey looks at his face.

His brother has a soft temperament. Though you can’t think of him as a woman, he still has that tender vibe that makes you want to spoil him.

Xavier gapes at Harvey looking at him with a serious expression.

“Not that kind of hook. Actually they are just a bridge. What I want is the power behind them. I have a lot of secrets. If I have someone with power to protect me, I won’t be too worried for our family.”

“Sometimes I feel ashamed to be unable to help.”

Xavier elbowed him in the stomach.

“You do physical work, I do mental work. If you both do it, what would I do? It’s called teamwork.”

Harvey chuckles.

Xavier looks at him.

“I thought you liked the girl from before. But when I told you about her today, you seemed embarrassed but also troubled.”

“It’s nothing.”

Harvey looks down.

His long lashes made a shadow covering his gaze.

He's a manly man but when show such expressions, he looks more like a cute puppy.

“Are you worried she comes from a good family?”

Xavier raised a brow.

Harvey flinched. He pouts looking away.

“She has a maid with her right. Even though I am not so dense as to think she is just an ordinary girl.”

“Hmm..” Xavier sighs.

“It’s fine. Before it takes root, it’s best to forget it.” Harvey chuckles and pats his shoulder..

“I’ll go inside first.”

Xavier's lips flatten after Harvey leaves.

Obviously the type to fall in love at first sight but has to forget his first love even before it blooms because of his status.

He takes a deep breath.

.

.

.

Butler Arwin has been waiting for Xavier for a while now. When he saw a familiar place in the street, he was relieved.

“Your master wants to meet me?” Xavier wants to finally breathe out.

‘Took them so long. Has no vision at all!’

He sighs but complains in his heart.

“Yes. My master was very enthusiastic about you.”

“Me? Not what I sell?” Xavier pretends not to have deep thoughts.

“Your product is really interesting but so do the person who saw their value.”

Butler Arwin laughs.

“It means you too have vision,Butler.”

“But not as lucky as you.”

Xavier smiles.

Ofcourse he knows and Kon confirmed that many has visited them or watching them.

Though not many come closer thanks to Kon’s imposing aura.

Many were interested in him but mostly where he gets his supplies. Some even buy out his item just to create an opportunity for him to reveal his supplier.

Sadly for them, his supplier is from another world.

After telling Harvey he will be gone for a while. He packs what he is selling to avoid theft as Harvey is the only one with him at the moment.

He followed butler Arwin to a large restaurant in town.

“So your master also owns this place. He must be a very capable person.”

Xavier is not stingy with praises but you have to always be careful about it either.

Praising capable people is like tic tac toe.

The butler's face brightens.

“He is.”

“Oh.” Xavier had a bit of understanding. Not only capable. This person must be charismatic too. For the stern butler to be so proud of his master, it must show that the master is not just generous but treats people with passion.

He becomes excited.

The door opened.

And the first thing Xavier looked at the person and he was rooted in place.

He saw a head full of glistering black hair, long eyelashes that covered the phoenix eyes. Iris is as beautiful as amethyst. Tall nose that does not belong to a pure native and lips that make a woman jealous. Sharp jaw that looks sculpted by the greeks.

His first thought is : A man shouldn’t be this beautiful

Thump thump thump.

Today he was reminded he was bent.

“Xavier.Xavier!”

The butler looks at him with a frown.

Xavier looks at the butler and all the red warmth bubbly feelings disappear.

What has he done?

Did he stare too long?

He felt awkward.

He felt all his edges were sweating buckets.

It wasn’t the first time he got so much attraction for the same sex.

But he thought he had become good at pretending after growing older.

“I’m sorry. I was distracted for a moment.”

“I don’t blame you but you know it’s rude to stare. Though my master has a good temper….you..be careful.” The butler whispers.

Most nobility would poke ordinary people’s eyes if they stared at them.

His young master may be pretending to be a lower nobility with a few wealthy stores but he is the crown prince. It will be as easy as to dispose of him if he makes him angry.

Butler Arwin kinda like Xavier so he warned him.

“Thank you.” Xavier smiles.

Xavier takes a deep breath.

“Hello Sir. My name is Xavier Austin from Su Village. Butler Arwin ssid you are looking for me?”

Xavier is a small boy for his age.

He is thin and white.

Looking at him is like looking at a small pet.

At first Archangel's first impression is a cute clumsy boy.

But now that he has no smiling face and flustered expression, he looks kind of intimidating.

Unsmiling but not rude.

Xavier treats this seriously like a 10 million contract signing. If he mess up, the 10 million contract will not be signed and he might get fired.

After conducting his mind, he become….calmer.

The more difficult it is. The calmer he would be.

The fast change of character surprise the butler and impress Archangel.

“Yes. I’m very interested with you.”

‘Damnit!’

Xavier is concentrating but almost waver.

What a handsome man is not lacking, is sex appeal!
