Butler

"Young Master Wayne." There's a knock outside the door.

Wayne or Prince  Archangel is talking to Butler Arwin in his office, he paused and nods at Butler Arwin.

"Come in." Butler said.

"Sir, the tribe's man Kon was sold to #108."

Archangel raised a brow.

"He bought him?"

The employee nods.

"I discourage him many times but he doesnt listen to me."

"He buy him for 10k gold?" Butler Arwin frowns.

He looks at his boss.

"Act of compassion or does he know something?"

Wayne dismisses the employee with his hand and look at the Butler.

"If he is sold then he is sold. Without proper medication, he would die in just a month." He stood up. "I tried my best to convince him but he is too stubborn."

The butler sighs.

Still he thinks that what Xavier did was a no brainer.

Why would he endanger his family's safety to save a guy?

'It's because he is my type.'

Xavier coughs thinking that.

Broad shoulders, despite his weak and sickly complexion, you can tell his former body shape is good.

Better than those models he has frequent interactions.

His face looks very cultured too. Like a handsome primitive hunk.

Though he is his  type.

He is not physically attracted to him.

He just thought, 'Such handsome guy should not die from an illness'. This is justice. And the scary amount he have is too much. He'll just treat it as doing charity works.

He is supporting 3 charity work on the other side. He can help here too even with limited resources.

"Kon, "

Kon flinched and looks at the handsome man that bought him.

"Yes?"

"I will wronged you for a week. Can you stay in the goat barn for a week?"

"??" Kon looks at Xavier confused.

"You see, you have a fever and cough. Your body need nourishment and clean room but its better to avoid contact to others for a while so you cant stay inside the house. I will ask my brothers to make you a separate room outside the house but it might take a week even the simpliest room."

Kon looks shock.

"Are you asking my permission?"

"......" Xavier nods. "I know its rude since I bought you like I have a plan in mind but Im actually dont. Im just a....a good guy."

Though the goat barn is not meant for human to live with. Its sanitize and clean.

Xavier gave him a folding bed made out of rattan material and a comfortable thick mattress and quilt.

It is too warm.  Even in theit tribe, Kon never had this kind of comfortable bed.

Its too soft. And the quilt smells nice.

The door opens and Xavier and Cheska walks in.

"Kon, this is my youngest sister,Cheska. Cheska, this will be our butler,Kon."

Cheska smiles shyly.

"Hello. We bring you things you will need while recuperating. I hope your speed recovery." She said and leave the wagon and Xavier and run away.

Xavier chuckles.

"My sister is too shy. She is still unmarried so dont think badly of her." He then put the things out the metal wagon.

Kon stands up and help Xavier.

Xavier didnt refuse his help. Even though he is sick, he is stronger than Xavier.

"This is a plastic durable box that store your change of clothes. I just assume you are one size larger than big brother so how about trying if it fits?"

Kon open a layer of the durable box with clothes folded perfectly inside.

He took off his clothes and try a gray long sweater.

Xavier was stunned how fast it happened but his 'expert' eyes trace that body. He feel embarassed and turn around.

Kon finish wearing a sweater and a long cotton pants.

He looks nicer than Xavier expected.

"How does it feel?" He asks.

Kon frowns.

"Comfortable?"

Xavier laughs at his confused expression.

"Well Im right about your size then. Thats good. If its comfortable then its better." He pats his shoulder.

"Next is this water dispenser. Since this is a barn with hays and light wood material, its not ideal to have a stove here. Ill teach you how to use this. Make sure that it is turn on. Youll see if the lights are lit, its turn on, if the lights are off, its turn off. The switch is in this side.

The red light means it is hot. The blue light means it is cold. Do you follow?"

"The  switch is on the side. If its on, it will have lights on. The  blue light is cold, the red  light is hot."

Xavier nods.

"Use a mug of a cup and push this leverage lightly  with the mug and water will pour down. Jjust take back the mug away from the leverage and the water will stop pouring. " Xavier said showing it.

"See, the water is hot."

Kon is shock at this amazing thing. He is already shock about the lights coming out of this thing yet it still doing more incredible things.

"Are you a shaman?" He asks trembling.

"......." Xavier laughs.

"No no. These things are only limited to our house. So dont tell it to outsiders."

Kon nods.

"How can I use something so precious?"

Xavier laughs.

"Its cold outside and its not safe to drink water in the river. Its better to have really to drink water whenever you need it. I will also leave some packets of cookies,crackers and sweets here in the rack beside your bed so if you feel hungry just eat some. We will send you food when its meal time so just make sure to recuperate fast. Tomorrow I will ask a doctor to come to check you up."

Kon grabs Xavier hand when he see him leaving.

Xavier turns around.

"Is there something more? Did you need extra blanket? I left some on the bottom drawer of your durable box. Make sure to check them if you need them. And Brother Harvey said he will make you a make shift toilet and washroom outside the barn. For now, you can only endure and use the tree outside." He smiles apologetically.

"Why are you doing this for me?" Kon said seriously. His eyes are hot and he is trembling.

Xavier smiles.

"Kon, your tribe is a fighting tribe right? It means you are strong warrior?"

Kon nods.

Xavier pats his shoulder with his other free hand.

"Then as our family's butler....You can protect us."
