Chapter 36: Fireball "Where are you? Come out! I know you are around here.Come out!"

Athena looked around in nothing but darkness as she shouted in the air.

She was in the middle of the forest where she was looking at all day today, for this moment.

Today the moon was shining bright, it was a full moon night while her life was slowly getting covered with darkness.

She was in a frantic state as she could feel her skin start burning slowly.

They might be starting the process of ceremony and that’s why her anxiousness was increasing.

She needs to get out of here as soon as possible after getting the solution.

Because the reason she was here can get her into deep problems.

What she came to do here is forbidden in packs and it was worth getting punished.

But she didn’t have any fucking choice! She wasn’t going to beg her heartless mate to take her back to save her life! Because she couldn’t see any other options other than that.

So, she was ready to take every risk to save her life.

"Aren’t you afraid of getting punished?"

She suddenly heard a very melodious voice which was echoing with the air and sounded more unrealistic.She immediately recognised it.

It was the voice she wanted to hear and came here for.

She immediately turned around and found a woman floating in the air.

Yes, she was a witch.

Yes, Athena came to a witch for help and having any kind of contact with the witch is forbidden in packs.

Because that was her only option.

The werewolves don’t go very well with the wolves as some witches can be very sketchy and use their powers for wrong things.

But she didn’t have any other options.

"Do you think their punishment is more important to me than my life, Irene?"

Athena scoffed at the woman who has curly black hair.

"Well, surely it isn’t.But oh my! I am seeing you after so long and you are still the pretty bitch you were the last time.And tonight you are looking like a fireball." Irene said with a fascinated look on her face.

She has never seen Athena in beautiful dresses or wearing makeup.She has always seen her wearing ragged clothes and with stains of dirt on her face or body because she always used to work.

"That’s something new I heard today.Fireball.Because everyone else was calling me red queen, red roses, rose queen a lot more.But not a fireball." Athena said with a small smile.

"Well, the fireball suits you the most.You look like you’re burning in fire and ready to burn down whoever comes your way."

Irene said with a smile as she slowly touched the ground.

Irene came down and stood in front of her with a smile, with a friendly smile.

She always smiles whenever Irene smiles at her and always compliments her saying that she has a beautiful smile.

But that didn’t put a smile on Athena’s face.

Her worry won’t go away until she finds a way to save her life.

Irene and Athena met in this forest only.

One night, they both saved themselves in danger and since then they became friends.

Athena helped her with a few things from here and there while taking the help of her magics in a few really important things.

So, technically they are just friends with benefits.

"It’s the first time you didn’t smile back at me when I smiled.That’s new, Athena."

Irene said with a smirk and immediately earned herself a frown from Athena.

"Are you seriously finding this situation funny, Irene? I am in danger, my life is in danger.Considering how powerful our freaking mate bond is, I might die if he marks that woman.I need to find a way soon to break the connection any way possible.And that’s why I called you here after taking such a big risk."

Athena exclaimed.

But Irene smiled again.

"Okay, I can’t see you in this miserable state.So, tell me what’s wrong and let’s get you out of this shit.Then we will talk."

Irene said with a smirk and Athena glared at her…

"Dominic is mating another woman, Irene.And he is doing it through ritual.I think the woman he was mating is not his real mate.And that’s why our bond is still active and it’s fucking making my life hard.I can’t fucking breath or think straight.Just set everything alright.I can’t take it anymore." Athena said.

But from the look of her, it seems like it went completely out of Irene’s head.

"I am sorry but I got blank from ‘Dominic is mating another woman’.Dominic? Alpha Dominic? As in your mate? The asshole who rejected you?" Irene asked with a frown.

"Okay, sorry.Next? Or repeat what you said again?" Irene asked with a frown.

"Didn’t you hear me the first time? He is marking another woman today by ritual.And you already know about our bond.How strong is that! I feel someone cuts my skin open whenever he is near any woman.And at this moment, I am feeling my skin burning as the time is nearing to the ceremony.I will die for sure, Irene.I can’t let that happen.You have to help me, Irene.You have to."

She exclaimed with urgency in her tone but Irene was having the same casual expression.

"First of all, why are men all assholes? Your mate is the boss of that section.And secondly, he rejected you and he is mating and marking another woman.That’s it.What’s wrong with that? What’s the problem here? What do you want me to do here?"

Irene asked with a shrug of her shoulders and Athena let out a growl.

"What’s wrong with you today, Irene? I need you to help me break the connection somehow between us! Do some magic!"

She exclaimed in fury and frustration
