Chapter 400
Lord Protector Novel
He scrambled forward to greet him. âTeeth, what a coincidence. Fancy meeting you here.â
âTeeth, can you wait in the car for a while? I have a small matter to attend to here. When itâs done, Iâll treat you to a meal.â
Teeth sneered. âSetting the meal aside, let me ask you this - what the f**k do you take me as?â
Humpty was astonished as he heard this. âTeeth, what do you mean?â
Teeth replied angrily, âWe had a deal - I was the one who was supposed to frame Zeke Williams. Why did you hire my subordinate?â
The anxiety in Humpty spiked up.
I did f*****g look for you, but you told me you were busy and didnât have time, so you told me to look for your subordinate.
Now that Iâve hired your subordinate, yet youâre biting back at me?
Not to mention the person involved is present right now. How could you say it out loud?
He pretended to be bewildered by Teethâs statement. âTeeth, I donât understand what you mean. How about you stay in the car and wait till Iâm done. Weâll talk about this later.â
Teeth was seething. âYou donât understand? Iâll make you understand!â
âWhen you were chasing after Summer Mills, you deliberately hired someone to plant false evidence indicating that Ruby Baxter was accepting student bribes. Then you wanted to look for an opportunity to return Ruby Baxterâs innocence. This would make her indebted to you, thus allowing her to give her daughter, Summer Millsâ hand in marriage to you.â
âNevertheless, you didnât foresee Zeke Williams barging into your scheme. You simply improvised and blamed this crime on him! We originally had a deal - I would be the one to frame Zeke Williams myself.
Why did you hire my subordinate instead?â Teeth scowled.
The crowd was instantly riled up.
There might be another side to the truth.
There was a possibility that the perpetrator in their minds was a good guy, and Mr. Charlie, who came off as a good guy, could be the mastermind and culprit behind all this.
Ruby eyeballed Humpty and shot him a question, âCharlie, is what heâs saying true?â
Humpty promptly came up with an argument, âAunt Ruby, donât listen to his nonsense. I donât even know him.â
Ruby doubted what he had said. âWhy would you call him Teeth if you donât even know him?â
Humpty tried to persuade her. âI... I hardly know him.â
Teeth interrupted, âYou hardly know me? Thatâs bullshit. Remember when you came to me to get your matters resolved? You even offered your mistress to me. How could you say you hardly know me?â
Wow!
The crowd went wild.
It was yet another jaw-dropping piece of news.
Todayâs âmovieâ was out of this world.
Teeth then glanced at the blondie. âBlondie, what the f**k do you think youâre doing? How dare you snatch your bossâ job? Weâve already agreed that I was the one who was going to take up the task of framing Williams.â
The blondie freaked out and subconsciously said, âTeeth, did you forget? Mr. Charlie did call you here in the first place. But you told him you were busy and didnât have time, so you asked him to look to me for help.â
Teeth suddenly swatted at his forehead. âOh man, look at this big brain of mine. How did I forget that.
Something like that did indeed happen. Oh man, seems like Iâve blamed olâ Charlie here by mistake.â
âBy the way, blondie, how much did olâ Charlie here give you?â He enquired.
The blondie answered, âAround five thousand?â
Teeth let out a hearty laugh. âYou dumb kid! Youâve been scammed. He and I had a deal before. If I helped him frame Williams, he was going to give me a hundred thousand. You only received five thousand... I wonder how much heâs looking down on you.â
The blondie flew into a fit of rage. âF**k, Humpty! Youâve got the balls to f*****g scam me?â
Teeth muttered, âForget it. Iâm not getting involved in this matter anymore.â
âCharlie, I blamed you by mistake. Itâs my fault. Iâll apologize to you another day. Iâll be taking my leave now. Have fun.â
Teeth then fled the scene.
Humpty was left with an intense deSire to kill someone.
Got it wrong?
You call this f*****g getting it wrong?
I seriously suspect that you intentionally came here to make trouble!
