“Neil, I know you’re still upset about what happened back then, but I’m desperate. Oli smashed

someone’s fancy car, they’re demanding $8 million. Even though Maja told me not to worry, I can’t help

but feel uneasy. I know you’re rich, could you lend me the money until I sell my house.”

Neil was so furious his heart was pounding, he started coughing violently.

“$8 million?! Maja told you not to worry?! Did she also say she would pay the $8 million, where would

she get that kind of money?! Susan, this is Olivia’s mess, don’t expect me to help!”

Susan’s voice was hoarse, but before she could finish, Neil hung up the phone.

Neil scoffed, looking at Maja.

Maja frowned, she probably knew who just called.
