Maja was really sleepy right now that she reckons she’d doze off against the wall if lan was a minute

late

So when she heard the elevator, her eyes lit up Instantly. She looked up and quickly adjusted her

demeanor

“Mr. Raymond.”

Seeing Maja’s demeanor, lan was somewhat delighted and his expression softened.

He swiped his card and entered, with Maja trailing behind him and placing a thermal box on the table.

“Mr. Raymond, this is tonight’s soup.”

The thermal box was pink and looked quite delicate.

lan didn’t expect that Maja would use a thermal box of this color.

She’s very competent at work and always straightforward.

He was surprised, but only unbuttoned two buttons of his suit.

After delivering the soup, Maja wanted to leave. After all, it’s easy for a man and a woman to be

misunderstood if they stay in the same place for too long. “Mr Raymond, enjoy your soup.”

Maja turned to leave, but heard him’say, “Aren’t you taking the thermal box back?”

Maja wanted to say it wasn’t necessary, but she felt that lan meant she should wait until he finished the

soup?

So Maja sat down, which surprised lan.

“Ill wait until you’re finished.”

To Maja, lan was a client, a soon–to–be divorced husband in legal terms.

She’s done more intimate things with him before, pretending to be strangers now would seem odd.

It wouldn’t be good to let fan misunderstand.

So she thought being calm might make a good impression on him.

lan’s suite had a kitchen, he actually wanted her to heat up the soup.

It’s nine o’clock now. She delivered soup to a male client and waited in his hotel room for him to finish

the soup. This would take at least an hour.

What was she thinking?

lan frowned, was about to ask her to get a bowl from the kitchen, looked up, and found that Maja had

already fallen asleep on the sofa.

Maja was really sleepy. She didn’t sleep last night, drove alone from the county to Greenfield, and then

made soup. Although making soup didn’t take much effort, she didn’t dare to sleep during the process;

she endured fatigue again to deliver the soup, and even quarreled with someone downstairs.

Now that she was quiet, she couldn’t resist the sleepiness.

lan has never seen anyone fall asleep within a minute. Was she pretending?

He moved closer, heard her calm breathing, saw the faint dark circles under her eyelids, recalled her

saying that she was going to the county last night, and he understood..

lan ignored her, turned around, took off his suit, and unbuttoned his white shirt.

His body was well–proportioned, his slim figure and firm waist were perfectly displayed.

Maja had already experienced his intensity in bed, but obviously didn’t have the chance to appreciate it

now.

lan casually threw the suit aside, and then walked into the bathroom.

When he came out, he found that Maja had pulled his suit over, probably because she was cold, and

covered herself with it.

lan frowned, walked over to her, tried to pull the suit out, but Maja was holding it tightly.

A rare hint of irritation appeared in lan’s eyes, he didn’t understand how things had turned out this way.

He took a deep breath, simply threw the suit off, and let her hold on to it.

At this moment, Tyler Bennitt called, and he went out to the balcony to answer.

“Ian, fancy a drink?”

Tyler had a smile on his face, a glass of wine in his hand, “Oh, I’m writing a new script lately. If that

Penny comes looking for you, make sure you tell me all the details of your interaction. Maybe I’ll get

some inspiration.”

“Buzz off.”

lan made a gesture to hang up, but Tyler seemed to sense the unusual atmosphere.

“You sound softer than before, is that beauty in your bed?”

lan swallowed, drove away other thoughts in his mind, and hung up on Tyler directly.

Tyler was a scriptwriter, and his specialty lied in expanding his thinking from a small detail. However,

his hunch for tonight was spot on lan and Maja were indeed sharing a room

When he walked in, he found Maja showing quite a bit of skin.
