Chapter 357
The Secretly Rich Man
Gerald Crawford:The Secretly Rich Man Novel (Invisible or Poorest) Chapter 357
âYes, Mr. Crawford. Iâm at the military base. What is your command?â
Drake and Tyson had become Geraldâs bodyguards, but they didnât need to follow him around for 24 hours, and hence, he had put them in charge of the military base.
âCan the resources at the military base help diagnose unknown diseases?â Gerald asked.
âOf course. The medical department in the military base includes the best doctors in all fields. They can cure most diseases! What do you need, Mr. Crawford?â
âThereâs a patient whose daughterâs name is Giya in the Provincial Peopleâs Hospital. Sheâs a student at Mayberry University. Please look it up and send the best doctors over!â
âUnderstood, Mr. Crawford!â
Gerald then hung up the phone. That was all he could do to help. He was not hoping that Giya would thank him since he was not supposed to expose himself anyway.
After that, he went back to his own hostel to study.
Meanwhile, at the Provincial Peopleâs Hospital. âDoctor, please help my wife! No matter how much it costs, Iâll be willing to pay!â A middle-aged man was begging the doctor at the Provincial Peopleâs Hospital desperately. Beside the man was a young and pretty lady with her eyes filled with tears. These two were none other than Giya and her father, Walton Quarrington.
âMr. Quarrington, we have informed the worldsâ best doctors over to help, but honestly speaking, none of us have seen a disease like this before. Please be rest assured that we will try our best!â The doctor said.
Walton fell backward, but luckily, Giya was there to hold him. He then sat on the chair to rest.
âDad, should we make a call to Yanken? They should be able to help!â Giya was heartbroken to see her father like that.
Walton shook his head. âNo. We donât have anything to do with your grandparents anymore. There is no reason for them to help us! I just hope that this isnât your motherâs destiny⦠She has been suffering for most of her life with me!â Walton cried as he said this, and Giya cried with him too.
âMr. Qarrington, Giya, we are here to visit Mrs. Quarrington!â A few people came up.
It was Giyaâs roommates and a guy named Yakob Lincoln.
They had brought along many things. Tammy had gone back to the hostel and come along with them as well.
âNice to meet all of you, Giyaâs friends! Thank you all so much.â Walton forced a smile to greet them.
âThanks for coming, guys!â Giya was touched.
âAnything for you, Giya. Howâs Mrs. Quarrington doing?â Tammy asked worriedly.
âThe doctors have brought in some specialists this morning, but they still couldnât figure out what was wrong!â Giya said as she shook her head and cried.
âMaybe I can get my dad to bring some doctors over to have a look? Heâs overseas now and knows some pretty well-known doctors,â Yakob said.
Both Walton and Giya were hopeful again, and Walton immediately thanked him. âThat would be really helpful, Yakob! Thank you so much!â
âYouâre welcome, Mr. Quarrington. After all, Giya is my classmate!â Yakob smiled.
Yakob immediately gave his father a call. Deep down, he knew that his fatherâs connections were not as good as Mr. Quarringtonâs. He was not sure if his father could even be of any help at all, but he had to try.
