Chapter 978
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 978:
Encouraged by her familyâs support, Madisyn responded with a smiling cat emoji. âIâll keep practicing, and next time, Iâll impress everyone at our family gathering.â
She then set the table meticulously and thoughtfully added two wine glasses, filling them to accompany the meal.
At 5:29, a minute before the two-hour mark Andrew had mentioned, the villaâs facial recognition alerted her.
Madisyn looked up as Andrew, impeccably dressed in a tailored suit, came into view.
âPerfect timing,â she said playfully, extending her left hand as she walked towards him.
âMr. Klein, would you care to join me for dinner?â
âIt would be my honor, Miss Johns,â Andrew said, his eyes brimming with warmth as he accepted her hand and they made their way to the dining room.
Despite the chefâs prior briefing on Madisynâs culinary efforts, Andrew found himself genuinely impressed by the sight of the meal.
âSweetheart, this is truly the finest dish Iâve ever had,â Andrew complimented.
Madisyn lightly pinched his fingertips. âYou havenât even tried it yet.â
âTasting isnât necessary for me to know its worth,â Andrew said with assurance, bending slightly to plant a soft kiss on Madisyn.

Madisyn was speechless. So typical of Andrew.
They sat opposite each other, glasses meeting with a gentle clink, and savored a delightful meal.
âFeeling any relief?â Lila inquired, offering Evita an ice pack for her swollen hand while reflecting on their encounter an hour earlier, which still left her slightly stunned. Evitaâs once notable pride had faded away.
After agreeing to pick up Evita, Lila had had her assistant delve into Evitaâs recent hardships. It turned out that Evita had been blacklisted by the Klein Group, a revelation that somewhat surprised Lila, though not completely.
Evitaâs previous actions had long hinted that she might upset Andrew sooner or later.
This situation had also complicated things for Lila.
The two of them had already fallen out.
Even after Evita apologized, Lila had no desire to fix their broken relationship.
But Evita claimed that she was her only hope.
Without her intervention, Evitaâs situation seemed dire.
In a quiet moment, Lila observed Evita and exhaled a soft sigh. She decided to extend her help one final time.
Rosalyn Gordon, Evitaâs mother, had shown kindness to Lila in the past. Lila couldnât bear the thought of Rosalyn suffering alone in the hospital should anything happen to Evita.
