Chapter 509

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 509:

The YM Club members couldn’t hold back their laughter. “Did you catch that on camera? Good thing I pulled out my phone just in time.”

“No way! Send me that clip later so I can enjoy it again!”

“This is awesome. I never imagined we could see them like this!”

The entire group buzzed with excitement. They immediately crowded around Waylon, asking about the incredible moves he had just pulled off, pleading with him to teach them.

Waylon looked over at Madisyn, who subtly shook her head. Catching her hint, he responded, “Honestly, I was too anxious and somehow managed to pull those moves off. Let me study them a bit more, and I’ll share the secrets with everyone later.”

“Man, you’re unbelievable! You must’ve been born to race!”

After hanging out a bit longer, Waylon said his goodbyes, and he and Madisyn headed home. Waylon could barely contain his excitement as he asked, “Madisyn, when did you learn how to race like that?”

His gut told him that Madisyn wasn’t just a casual racer—she had serious skills.

“A few years ago,” Madisyn replied, keeping her cool.

“No way! A few years ago, you were practically a kid! You were already racing back then?”

Madisyn stared out into the still, dark night. Back then, she’d needed money, and racing had been her quickest option. Noticing that Madisyn wasn’t in the mood to talk about it, Waylon, though dying to ask more, decided to hold back.

Once they got home, just before heading to bed, Madisyn browsed the news online. The story about Betsey had already gone viral, and she now knew that Betsey was the student she had financially supported.

The fact that a beneficiary of someone’s generosity was caught flaunting designer clothes and making a scene in her benefactor’s store had turned into a massive scandal. Betsey was being slammed online and even had her account banned, while Madisyn was gaining sympathy.

“I’m so sorry, Natural Beauty. I can’t believe I doubted you.”

“Honestly, Madisyn is amazing. She does so much charity work and even helps customers in her own store, despite being the boss. You don’t see any other brand owner doing that.”

“I can’t believe it was Madisyn who helped me that day. She’s gorgeous. I’m such a fan now. The boss herself served me.”

“Is Betsey some kind of monster? She took Madisyn’s money and then trashed her. People like her deserve to be thrown in jail to think about what they’ve done.”

With the crisis behind her, Madisyn noticed that the sales of Natural Beauty products were steadily rising. Feeling a sense of relief, she finally went to bed.

The next morning, Madisyn woke up around 10 a.m. and noticed a message from Andrew.

“I left some breakfast for you on the dining table. Make sure you eat.”

Smiling to herself, she had her breakfast before heading to the office.

While she was working, Andrew called her up. “Did you like the breakfast, sweetheart?”

Madisyn answered, “It was amazing. You haven’t lost your touch in the kitchen.”

“Were you up late last night, sweetheart?”

Feeling slightly guilty, Madisyn said, “No, I actually went to bed early.”

She had promised Andrew to stay away from dangerous racers. If he knew she had gone racing, he would be furious.

“Oh? My eyes must have played tricks on me.” There was a teasing yet dangerous undertone to Andrew’s voice.

Madisyn’s heart dropped. “What did you see?”

“At Shadow Mountain,” Andrew replied, naming the exact location where she had raced the night before. Caught off guard, Madisyn stammered, “I went with Waylon. I was only watching.”

Andrew’s voice became stern. “Did you forget what I told you? Racing is dangerous. If anything went wrong, your chances of getting hurt would skyrocket.”

As Andrew continued his lecture, Madisyn’s guilt grew, and she finally admitted, “I was wrong.”

“Are you going to race again?”

“No, I won’t.”

When Andrew heard Madisyn’s response, his voice softened. “Sweetheart, you don’t know how terrified I am of losing you.”

“I promise, last night was a one-off. It won’t happen again.”

“Good girl,” Andrew’s voice was low and rich.

Madisyn asked, “Were you there as well?”

Andrew’s silence gave her the answer. “Who told you I was there?”

Andrew replied in a soft voice, “Jada sent me a message.” He quickly added, “But I didn’t reply to her. I was just worried about you.”

“Okay then.”

Andrew indeed hadn’t responded to Jada.

Jada had hoped Andrew would see Madisyn’s true nature, thinking Madisyn wanted to learn racing after knowing she excelled at it. Jada figured reckless actions would catch up with her. She was sure Andrew, being so smart, would never want a foolish woman like that. But after sending the message, she waited a long time for a reply.

Jada turned to her assistant. “Did you get any news on Betsey?”

“Yes, she’s at the train station now.”

The train station was noisy and chaotic.

Betsey’s funds had all been frozen, and Johns Group had let her go. She didn’t have enough money for a hotel room and had to ask her parents for money to buy a train ticket home.

She sat in a daze on a bench, unable to comprehend how everything had fallen apart in just two days.

“Poor thing,” a kind, sympathetic voice sounded next to her.

Betsey looked up and saw a gentle, delicate face. The woman, dressed in expensive designer clothes, seemed completely out of place amid the noisy, chaotic train station.Final del formulario
