Collier nodded. “Relax, Mom. I know what I’m doing.” He barely had time to rest before his phone buzzed again. Moments later, he was out the door, off to yet another meeting.

Watching him leave, Madisyn turned to Lilyana. “For now, let your brother stay in marketing. But if work ever gets too overwhelming, tell me, alright? You can’t push yourself too hard, and you definitely can’t skip meals, understand?”

Lilyana wrapped her arms around her mother, smiling. “I know, Mom. I’ll remember. Work shouldn’t take a toll on my health, meals should always be eaten on time, and if anything becomes too much, I’ll come to you.”

She counted each point on her fingers playfully. “I’m fine, so you and Dad don’t have to worry about me.”

Seeing her daughter’s attitude, Madisyn felt reassured. Her daughter was still so young, yet she had already proven herself more than capable.
