Chapter 1411
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1411:
Collier was completely unfazed by the reprimand. He plopped down beside Lilyana, casually slinging an arm over her shoulder. âMom, you worry too much. Even if the Klein Group doubled in size, I bet Lilyana could still handle it effortlessly. Running a business is tough, sure, but keeping it successful is even harder. Thatâs her specialty. As for me, Iâm better suited to building something new. I just heard about a huge project launching in the southern border. Iâm heading over in a few days to check it out. If it looks promising, Iâll seal the deal.â
Madisyn had heard whispers of this project, but now that she and Andrew had started stepping back from the business, they werenât as involved in the details. Still, she cautioned, âYou can go, but be careful. The southern border has always been unpredictable. Never compromise ethics or legality for the sake of profit.â
Collier nodded. âRelax, Mom. I know what Iâm doing.â He barely had time to rest before his phone buzzed again. Moments later, he was out the door, off to yet another meeting.
Watching him leave, Madisyn turned to Lilyana. âFor now, let your brother stay in marketing. But if work ever gets too overwhelming, tell me, alright? You canât push yourself too hard, and you definitely canât skip meals, understand?â
Lilyana wrapped her arms around her mother, smiling. âI know, Mom. Iâll remember. Work shouldnât take a toll on my health, meals should always be eaten on time, and if anything becomes too much, Iâll come to you.â
She counted each point on her fingers playfully. âIâm fine, so you and Dad donât have to worry about me.â
Seeing her daughterâs attitude, Madisyn felt reassured. Her daughter was still so young, yet she had already proven herself more than capable.
A few days later, Collier boarded a plane to the southern border, taking his assistant and subordinates with him.
The southern border of Lorpond, long notorious for its instability due to its proximity to neighboring countries, had recently turned into a goldmine for business opportunities. The regionâs untapped potential had drawn the keen eyes of many domestic companies.
Collier, a representative of the Klein GroupâLorpondâs most powerful conglomerateâhad his own network of connections in the area. Upon landing, he and his subordinates were promptly handed a more detailed project plan by the local representative.

âMr. Klein, this project is being spearheaded by the newly appointed local consul, and our fiercest competitor is none other than the Odom Group,â the representative explained. âMy people have discovered that earlier this morning, Shaw Odom, the young leader of the Odom Group, has already met with the consul.â His voice carried a note of concern as he relayed the information.
Collier arched an eyebrow at this revelation, his youthful face brimming with energy and confidence. âThen set up our meeting with the consul,â he said, unbothered. âActing first doesnât always mean winning the prize.â
Collierâs unwavering composure was infectious, and the representative quickly shed his apprehension.
âIâll arrange it right away,â he said, now filled with renewed optimism. âMr. Klein, you and your team must be exhausted from your journey. Allow me to host a welcoming banquet for you tonight.â
Collier waved a dismissive hand. âNo need for that. Sitting on a plane for a few hours isnât tiring. If the others want to rest, theyâre free to do so, but Iâd rather take a walk and get a feel for this place myself.â The representative immediately caught his meaning. âIâll accompany you,â he offered.
