Chapter 1383
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1383:
Over the years, Madisyn had learned the trick to getting Andrew home on time. Nine times out of ten, if she asked, he would clear his schedule without hesitation. And on the rare occasions he truly couldnât, he always made it up to her the next day, never letting her feel neglected.
This time was no different. Before she could even put her phone down, Andrewâs reply popped up. âThe dining room looks beautiful, honey. Youâve put in so much effort. Go rest. Iâll cook when I get back.â
Madisyn smirked and quickly typed back. âI said Iâll cook, so I will. If you want to help, just come back soon!â
In his sleek office at Klein Group, Andrew leaned back in his chair, staring at his phone with a rare, gentle smile. He reread Madisynâs message, complete with a cute, smug little emoji, and chuckled to himself. âOkay, Iâll be back soon. I wonât let my wife down!â he replied. Madisyn didnât text back, but Andrew found himself lingering on their conversation.
For some reason, tonight reminded him of the early days of their relationship, when every date felt like an event.
Andrew absently toyed with his phone, a small smile tugging at his lips as anticipation for his dinner date with Madisyn settled in.
With the evening plans set, Madisyn got to work. She gathered her ingredients, cooked everything right on schedule, and then went upstairs to freshen up.
Ding-dong!
The doorbell chimed. Peeking outside, Madisyn spotted Andrew standing at the door. She strolled over and opened it, glancing past him at the car parked behind. âWhy are you ringing the bell like a guest? Darling, you know your fingerprint unlocks the door.â
Andrew didnât respond immediately. His gaze first landed on her beautiful smile, and then his eyes trailed down, taking in her from head to toe.
Today, Madisyn was wearing a teal knitted dress, making her appear even more alluring. Her long, flowing hair was tied up on one side, simply and loosely braided. The evening breeze played with the strands, making her look strikingly graceful.
âDarling, you look⦠special tonight.â

Andrewâs voice was smooth, his dark eyes tracing Madisynâs features with unmistakable intensity.
Madisyn had always been a striking, cool beauty. Though marriage and family had softened her edge slightly, she still carried an air of quiet detachment around others.
This was Madisynâs first time trying this style, and the outcome was surprisingly stunning.
Pleased with his reaction but not forgetting her true purpose, Madisyn gestured toward the garage. âTell the driver to park the car. Dinnerâs ready.â
âOkay.â
Andrew stepped inside, washing his hands before following her to the dining room.
The ambiance was perfectâflickering candlelight, the rich aroma of home-cooked food, and a bottle of red wine waiting to be uncorked.
Madisyn lifted her glass, her eyes locked onto Andrewâs. âDarling, thank you for loving me and always being so patient with me. I love you.â
âI love you too, darling.â
But before taking a sip, Andrew eyed the deep crimson wine and hesitated. âThis is a strong one. Should we switch to something lighter?â
