Chapter 1352
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1352:
A warm smile graced Susanâs face. âThis is our little miracle. Since youâve chosen his formal name, Iâd like to pick his everyday name.â She paused thoughtfully. âHmm⦠letâs call him Sunny. It pairs beautifully with his formal name, and I hope he grows to shine as brightly as the sun.â
âWhatever makes you happy,â Dane replied softly.
The new motherâs strength was waning, though she managed to share precious moments with their concerned family members, cradling her newborn until the nurse kindly suggested she should rest.
After bidding farewell, Madisyn found herself lost in contemplation during the drive home.
Andrew brought the car to a stop and studied her face. âBaby, where has your mind wandered off to?â
âJust thinking about the little one,â Madisyn answered absently before turning to Andrew. âHoney, did you see Sunny? Heâs such a tiny, precious thing.â
Andrewâs gaze lingered on Madisyn as he asked with gentle curiosity, âSo, my dear Madisyn, does this mean youâre yearning for a baby of your own?â
Madisyn felt Andrewâs gaze intensify, darkening with intention. Before she could fully process the moment, he leaned across the console, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss that left her breathless against the passenger seat.
The air in the car grew thick with desire. Still catching her breath from his kiss, Madisyn watched as Andrew pulled away, circling to her door. In one fluid motion, he swept her into his strong arms and carried her toward their villaâs master suite.
Steam curled through the bathroom as Andrew guided Madisyn into the warm, welcoming water. She gazed up at his perfect features above her, wrapping her arms around his neck as a delicate blush painted her cheeks.
Gentle waves lapped against the tubâs edge, the water dancing to their rhythm. Eventually, Madisyn melted into Andrewâs embrace amidst the soft splashing, before he carried her, still damp and tender, to their waiting bed.
Time slipped by swiftly after the New Year celebrations, and Madisyn had settled back into her routine at Johns Group.
As the morningâs tasks drew to a close, Madisyn massaged her aching shoulders. Fatigue had become her constant companion these days. Her secretary, ever observant, noticed her weariness and spoke up. âSpring has a way of draining our energy. Ms. Johns, perhaps you should take some time to rest?â

âYouâre right,â Madisyn said. âIâll take a half-hour break.â
With quiet efficiency, the secretary brought her a soft blanket and left the office, ensuring she wouldnât be disturbed during her much-needed respite.
What Madisyn thought would be a quick energy boost turned into a deep slumber, only broken by Andrewâs concerned call at noon. âBaby, is something up? Iâm waiting for you outside your company, but you didnât show up. Have you eaten yet?â
Madisyn massaged her temples as her eyes found the clock. Ten minutes past working hoursânormally, sheâd already be sharing lunch with Andrew at their favorite restaurant.
She bolted upright from the plush office sofa. âIâm so sorry, honey. I dozed off completely. Iâll head down right away.â
âTake your time,â Andrewâs voice was gentle. âIâm in no rush.â
Upon learning Madisyn was still at Johns Group, Andrew stepped out of his car, his gaze drawn to the impressive building across the street.
