Chapter 1313
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1313:
âOkay, I understand. Iâll be careful.â
âGreat. Darling, youâre such a good girl,â Andrew said, pressing a tender kiss to Madisynâs cheek. In his mind, he was already arranging for covert security detail to watch over her.
Two days passed in a blur of activity. In his office on the top floor of the Klein Groupâs towering headquarters, Andrewâs usual composed demeanor shifted as he read his subordinateâs report.
âMr. Klein, Elton has been quite busy lately, and his sphere of influence appears to be expanding at an alarming rateâ¦â
As Andrew dissected the report, one detail seized his attentionâthe list of Eltonâs recent contacts.
Blessed with an exceptional memory that time couldnât erode, Andrew found himself recognizing every name. Each face, each connection crystallized in his mind, revealing a disturbing pattern: they were all former members of Roccoâs inner circle.
Something about their coordinated movements sent a chill down his spine, an instinctive warning he couldnât quite place.
Without conscious thought, his fingers found Madisynâs number, but the call met only silence.
Pivoting smoothly, he dialed her bodyguard instead. The line crackled to life.
âWhere is Miss Johns? What is she doing now?â Andrew asked.
From his post outside a Johns Group factory, the bodyguard reported, âMiss Johns responded to an emergency alertâworker unrest at a factory. We escorted her here, but sheâs inside handling the situation. Weâre maintaining external security.â
Andrewâs features darkened, his voice dropping to a commanding whisper.
âGet inside. Now. I want eyes on her constantly. Make sure she is safe.â
âYes, Mr. Klein.â

The bodyguard agreed immediately and then disconnected the call with Andrew.
Familiar with the factoryâs location, Andrew grabbed his phone and headed for his car.
As the sleek vehicle ate up the miles away from Ansport, anxiety gnawed at himâneither Madisyn nor her security detail had made contact since entering the facility.
Pushing his car to its limits, Andrew made record time to reach the factory.
Yet as he stepped out, the sight before him dissolved his immediate fears: Madisyn emerged with a group of people, looking completely unharmed and far from the danger his mind had conjured.
The tension in his chest began to uncoil, and he moved forward with purposeful steps.
Madisyn was deep in conversation with the factory director about preventive measures when she caught sight of Andrew. Concern flickered across her features at his unexpected appearance.
âWeâll need to handle these situations more delicately moving forward,â she told the director.
âLetâs conclude for todayâsomethingâs come up. You can head back now.â
The directorâs gaze flickered between Madisyn and Andrew, understanding dawning on his face. With a knowing nod, he ushered his team away.
As the group retreated, Madisyn approached Andrew.
