Chapter 1301
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1301:
âOf course, go ahead.â
As Andrew departed, Eltonâs smile faded, returning to his usual, more serious demeanor.
Lowe stepped up beside him, watching Andrewâs figure disappear. Shaking his head with quiet admiration, he spoke in a tone laced with respect.
âBack then, Andrew spent two years in the military region, rising through the ranks with impressive speed. Initially, the soldiers were skeptical of his abilities, but he requested to stay with each team for a full week, rotating through all of them. He eventually won them over. Timeâs flown by, and his intensity has softened, but his reputation still lingers. Even after leaving the army, and with only an honorary title to his name, he commands great respect.â
Elton narrowed his eyes, drawn back into memories by Loweâs words.
His hands clasped in front of him, Elton stared ahead, then asked suddenly, âLowe, which Andrew do you think wouldâve been a better fit for the militaryâthe one from back then or the one we see now?â
Lowe pondered the question. Andrew had distanced himself from the military, and considering the influence of the Klein family, it was unlikely heâd ever return to active duty. Though he didnât fully understand the purpose of Eltonâs question, he gave an honest response.
âOur military region is divided between the frontlines and the rear. In terms of combat, the Andrew from back then was definitely better suited, but for the rearâ¦â
He hesitated before concluding, âThe Andrew of today would be a much better fit. You might not believe it, Lieutenant General Avila, but sometimes, when I look into Andrewâs eyes, I feel like Iâm staring into his grandfatherâs. Andrew has always been a man of many layers. But with the weight he carries, Andrew was never meant to stay in the military. You were right all alongâthe military region couldnât keep him.â
Lowe finished speaking and gave a soft, resigned sigh.
He was a generation older than Andrew, and back when Andrew first entered the military region, Lowe had been the one to personally escort him to his duty station.
Many years had passed since those early days, and in that time, Lowe had climbed from a major generalâs aide to a lieutenant generalâs aide, while Andrew had risen to prominence as a powerful figure in the business world.

Andrew was a true prodigy, someone who could excel in any field, and seeing his rapid ascent made Lowe realize just how quickly the young man had evolved.
Elton didnât speak for a long while. Then, after a moment of deep thought, he shifted the conversation.
âLetâs not dwell on the past. Earlier, I asked you to look into Madisyn. Howâs that investigation going?â
Lowe stepped forward, ready to report.
âIâve looked into her background. Itâs a bit complicated. She had moved between cities and even countries, only returning to her biological parents as an adult. After thorough analysis, though, thereâs no major concern. Her personality is calm, and sheâs not prone to impulsive behavior. No extra precautions are necessary.â
Elton gave a nod of approval.
âI see. You can go now.â
âYes, sir.â
Lowe saluted and left the office, and Elton returned to his desk.
The office was simpleâjust a rectangular desk, a wooden chair, and a metal cot along the side. On the wall, a machete hung, its blade etched with the shape of wolf teeth, next to a map of the region.
