“Who says the Welch Group can’t handle the problem in the project?” Amidst the murmurs of doubt, Healy rose to his feet.

Under Aldwin’s sharp gaze, he turned to Eaton and declared, “Mr. Rachford, regarding the resident driven to suicide over forced relocation, I trust you’ll stand for justice!”

Both you and I know who has been stirring up trouble with the residents refusing to relocate. The Welch Group obtained this project fair and square through legitimate means!”

Healy’s words sent a ripple of confusion through the room. Aldwin locked eyes with him, unease crawling up his spine.

What was he getting at? Did Healy know the truth? Did he suspect that the Perkins family was behind the entire resident incident?

“Healy, stop trying to twist the truth with vague insinuations. What could I possibly know about this so-called resident incident? I’m only aware of what’s being reported by the media and what the residents have stated!” Aldwin retorted.

Healy cast him a sidelong glance, as if watching a jester perform.
