Chapter 1206
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1206:
âWell, thereâs something else.â Andrewâs eyes softened as he looked at the lively, beautiful Madisyn on the screen, his voice dropping low.
âWhile weâre on this call, I canât help but think about you.â
Work, dinner, and then thoughts about her. Although Andrew didnât utter any grand, poetic words, the sentiment still managed to tug at Madisynâs heart.
She pressed her hand gently to her chest, her eyes lingering on him in the video as she spoke softly, âI have a few things left to take care of. Iâll be back tomorrow.â
âOkay, Iâll wait for you.â
After a few more exchanged words, the call ended. Madisyn stood from the sofa and asked Jared to change her flight to the earliest one the next morning.
âDidnât you say youâd finish everything tomorrow? Why are you going now?â Jared, ever compliant, quickly rearranged her flight while trailing her out of the hotel.
âI want to finish things quickly and go back early.â

It was a little past five in the morning, the sky just beginning to lighten. Madisyn walked quietly into the bedroom.
Andrew lay asleep in bed. Madisynâs gaze softened as it rested on his peaceful, angelic face, tracing the lines of his features.
With his eyes closed, Andrew looked more serene, softer, than when he was awake.
At that moment, Madisyn couldnât resist taking her phone out to capture a picture of him.
But just as she slipped her phone back into her pocket, her eyes met Andrewâsâhis dark eyes wide open.
He was awake?
Before Madisyn could say anything, he reached for her hand.
Without thinking, she placed hers in his, and in one fluid motion, he pulled her into his embrace, closing his eyes again.
Madisyn froze, taken aback by the suddenness of his action. But Andrew simply held her close, content, his heart swelling as he relished the softness of her presence. It felt so real. Slowly, he fluttered his eyelashes and opened his eyes once more.
