Chapter 1051
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1051:
âAlbertine, mind your manners or leave,â Ailynâs uncle said sharply, his tone laced with disapproval.
Albertine blinked, feigning innocence, and kept her hand extended. Sensing the underlying tension, Madisyn decided to avoid making things awkward and shook Albertineâs hand. âHello, Albertine,â she said calmly.
Albertineâs eyes sparkled with amusement as she glanced at their clasped hands. âDr. Mia, youâre not at all what I expectedâin a good way. I like you,â she said with a grin.
Before Madisyn could respond, Albertine pulled another lollipop from her pocket and slipped it into Madisynâs coat. Turning to her father, she smirked. âIâll leave now, Father. Iâm looking forward to your good news.â
After Albertine left, Ailynâs uncle turned back to Madisyn, his face apologetic. âDr. Mia, I hope Albertine didnât upset you.â
Madisyn offered a composed smile. âNot at all,â she said, ignoring the lollipop tucked in her pocket.
She shifted her attention to the man lying motionless on the bed, his eyes closed. âLet me examine the patientâs condition first.â
Madisyn pressed two fingers against the pulse of the Vettel familyâs patriarch, her gaze narrowing in deep concentration. After a moment, she withdrew her hand, turning her attention to the medical reports.
âDr. Mia, howâs my father doing?â Ailyn asked, her voice laced with nerves.

With a calm, steady demeanor, Madisyn handed the reports back to her. âHe can recover, but Iâll need some skilled assistants. Make sure they take proper care of the patientâs health over the next two days. Iâll be performing a craniotomy.â
âUnderstood. Iâll make all the necessary arrangements.â The physical condition of the head of the Vettel family didnât meet the requirements for a craniotomy now, so Madisyn spent the next two days coordinating with the assistants Ailyn had arranged for her to make sure his physical condition improved.
Meanwhile, Andrew had been making significant headway in cementing partnerships with other prominent families in Mafelen. Only the Vettel familyâs agreement remained unresolved.
That evening, Madisyn and Andrew went to one of the cityâs finest restaurants. Before their meal was served, Madisyn excused herself to visit the restroom.
Outside the restroom, she spotted a tall man gripping a young womanâs wrist forcefully. The woman was visibly distressed, struggling against his grip in a desperate attempt to break free.
In an unfamiliar land, surrounded by the elite of high society, Madisyn hesitated to intervene.
Logic whispered to walk away, but the womanâs terrified voice gripped her conscience. She couldnât ignore it. âLet her go!â
Madisyn stepped forward, her hand deftly twisting the manâs wrist to break his grip. She then swiftly placed herself between him and the woman, shielding her. To her astonishment, the woman was Albertine, who looked just as shocked to see her.
