Chapter 1049
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1049:
Seeing the indignation on Madisynâs face, Andrew knew he had pushed his teasing far enough. He quickly pressed a kiss to her lips and said, âAlright, sweetheart, weâve got to head to the airport today. Let me make you breakfast.â After freshening up, the two shared breakfast before heading to the airport.
Several hours later, as they arrived at their destination, Andrewâs car was waiting outside the airport. Madisyn moved toward the door to get in.
But something made her pause. She glanced into the distance. Amidst the bustling crowd, she couldnât shake the feeling that someone was watching her. Was it just her imagination?
Andrew noticed her hesitation. âWhatâs wrong?â
Madisyn bit her lip, her eyes scanning the crowd. âI donât know. It felt like someone was looking at me, but⦠theyâre gone now.â
Andrew remained quiet as the assistant who came to pick him and Madisyn up greeted them politely. âMiss Johns, Mr. Klein, you both certainly know how to turn heads. Everyone seems to be watching you.â
Feeling protective of Madisyn, Andrew immediately responded, âI want to know who those people over there are and what their intentions might be.â
The assistant nodded, efficiently making a note of Andrewâs request and arranging for the investigation.
Madisyn leaned back in her seat, her discomfort evident. She hesitated for a moment before speaking softly. âDonât you think this is a little⦠too cautious? Maybe Iâm just imagining things.â

Grasping her hand firmly, Andrew looked into her eyes with sincerity. âMadisyn, you matter to me more than anything else. I wonât take any chances with your safety.â Madisyn managed a small smile and nodded. âAlright!â
As they reached the hotel, Madisyn pulled out her phone, planning to call Ailyn about visiting her father the next day. But before she could dial, Ailynâs name lit up her screen.
âMiss Johns, my people saw you and Mr. Klein at the airport. Why stay at a hotel? Come to my manor instead. Iâve already made all the arrangements. Youâll be much more comfortable here.â
Madisyn paused, her mind piecing things together. So, those people outside the airport were arranged by Ailyn. She bit her lip, feeling a pang of irritation at being watched.
âThank you, Miss Vettel,â she replied politely, keeping her tone neutral. âBut the hotel is fine. Iâve grown used to staying at a hotel on my trips.â
âAlright then,â Ailyn said, her tone tinged with disappointment. âIf you need anything, donât hesitate to let me know. Iâll have it taken care of right away.â
âThank you. I appreciate it,â Madisyn replied.
