Chapter 1037
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1037:
Caught off guard, Madisyn wondered about Ailynâs intentions.
âMiss Vettel, hold on. Are you here to see Mr. Klein today?â
Ailyn, annoyed by Madisynâs obstruction, said, âYouâre aware of that, so why block my way?â
The elders accompanying Ailyn seemed unconcerned about the tension between Ailyn and Madisyn. They addressed Madisyn in a gentler manner.
âMiss Johns, weâve come to meet Mr. Klein. Is he here yet?â
Madisyn affirmed with a nod and was about to suggest they wait, but she caught Ailyn attempting to open the door.
Reacting swiftly, Madisyn interjected, âWhat are you doing? This isnât the right room.â
Ailyn laughed off Madisynâs warning, clearly unconvinced. She assumed Madisyn was merely playing a game of delay, employing a tactic Ailyn herself was known for, which made her think Madisyn was foolish to use that on her.
Ailyn pushed against the door forcefully, while Madisyn clung firmly to the doorknob, not yielding.
The elders with Ailyn gave Madisyn disapproving looks. They wondered why she was obstructing their entry if Dr. Mia was indeed inside.
âMiss Johns, we should not keep Mr. Klein and Dr. Mia waiting. Please, let us through.â

Madisyn realized they had misunderstood, but she couldnât just disclose her identity in such a crowded venue. She said, âThis really isnât the right room. The person youâre here to meet isnât behind this door.â
Despite her polite explanation, the elders were skeptical, evidently thinking Madisyn had a hidden agenda and ignoring her attempts to redirect them.
Outnumbered and facing their critical stares, Madisyn felt overwhelmed by their persistence.
Struggling to convince the stubborn group, Madisyn finally relented in frustration, stepping aside.
If Ailyn was determined to enter, Madisyn thought, she would just let her face the consequences. She knew the club valued privacy, and it was usual for VIP room doors to be locked. Madisyn watched, anticipating Ailynâs embarrassment when she found the door locked.
Yet, to her shock, Ailyn swung the door open effortlessly. Madisyn inhaled sharply in surprise, unprepared for the door to be unlocked.
Inside was Quentin Robinson, an adoptive member of the Robinson family from Ansport, known for his volatile nature and feared in the northern parts of the city.
He was sipping his drink alone, and Ailynâs unexpected entrance fueled his fury. Scowling, he seized a glass and threw it towards her. âWatch out, Miss Vettel!â
Nathan was quick to act, intercepting the glass deftly.
