Chapter 1008
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1008:
At Ansportâs most luxurious hotel, Ailyn sent out a collection of twenty design drafts to a group chat. The chat included only Tatiana, Lina, and herself.
Ailyn tagged Lina in the chat. âThe designs are preliminary. Iâll visit your office at three this afternoon to observe materials and craftsmanship in person. Please make the necessary arrangements.â
Ailyn was used to being treated with deference wherever she went, and her tone with Lina, the head of the Grey family, was no different from the one she used with Nathan, who stood beside her.
Lina, however, seemed unbothered and gave an immediate response. âNo problem, Miss Vettel. Would you like me to arrange a ride for you?â
The question made Ailyn pause, her thoughts drifting to the woman wearing a dress with Lorpond cultural elements. The Ferrari she had brought over from Mafelen had already been sent for repairs after just one day on Lorpond roads, all because of that woman.
Ailyn vented her frustration on Lina, another Lorpond woman.
âWhat do you think?â
Lina frowned at the message, uncertain of its tone. Was Ailyn disdaining her car, or did she want to use it? She promptly reached out to Tatiana and learned that Ailynâs car had been damaged by a scammer. Only then did she cautiously type a response in the group chat.

âUnderstood. Iâll have someone pick you up at your hotel.â
Ailyn said nothing further, and Lina eventually closed the chat interface.
As Lina and Ailyn communicated, the deputy director of Orly Companyâs production department stood quietly beside her. Having witnessed Ailynâs arrogance firsthand, the man frowned. âMiss Grey, Miss Vettel really doesnât respect us, does she? Her temperâs a bit⦠peculiar.â
Unlike Timeless Elegance, which prided itself on traditional craftsmanship, Orly Company, while bragging about their handmade clothing, secretly relied on machines to produce their garments. This allowed them to sell their clothes at a premium while cutting down on production costs.
However, Lina was well aware that their brand faced a hurdle they could never quite overcome.
Initially, Orly Company had mimicked other brands, copying everything from production techniques to clothing designs. This imitation did not sit well with the upper class, who heavily criticized them for lacking originality.
As the company expanded, they updated their logo and brought in several talented designers from Timeless Elegance. Still, the shadow of criticism loomed, though it was less pronounced than before.
Determined to shake off these critiques, Lina set her sights on Timeless Elegance once again. She had planned to collaborate with its CEO after the company was acquired by Homelight Enterprise. Unexpectedly, the Johns family threw a wrench into her plans. To make matters worse, Timeless Elegance struck gold by securing a high-profile partnership with Marcus, which catapulted them even further ahead.
