Chapter 1005
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1005:
The secretary sighed, trying to suppress his thoughts. While he regretted not taking the shortcut, Andrew had given clear instructions, and as a subordinate, he had no choice but to follow them. However, this also meant they would be occupied in the coming days.
âAlright, Mr. Klein, Iâll reply to them now,â the secretary said.
It was 11 PM. Andrew had initially planned a meeting, but with the changes in the cooperation with the Mafelen company, it was no longer necessary.
âYou can go home after replying. Tomorrow morning at 9, organize a meeting with the project team,â Andrew instructed.
âCopy that, Mr. Klein.â
The black Bentley made its way back to Madisynâs villa. Andrew glanced at the time. She should already be asleep by now. He instinctively quieted his footsteps, but as he turned the corner of the garden, the dim glow from the first-floor living room caught his attention.
The soft light made Andrewâs eyes gleam as he imagined Madisyn watching TV on the sofa a few hours ago. She had left the light on for him.
With both of his parents gone, his uncleâs family wary of him, and his grandfather strict, Andrew found most of the warmth in his life through Madisyn.
But just when he thought she had already given him enough, she would always surprise him with more, and it was always better, more precious.
gαâηÏνððsâ¤Ã§om has it all
A small, tender warmth spread through Andrewâs chestâunspoken but unmistakable. He paused for a moment, controlling the surge of emotions, took a deep breath, and quickened his pace toward the living room.
âClick.â
The faint sound of the door opening was instantly caught by Madisyn. She had already finished her nightly routine and was now in her pajamas, engrossed in a music game on her tablet, training her click speed.
âAndrew, youâre finally off work,â Madisynâs voice was soothing, but she remained focused on finishing the current round. Her fingers moved swiftly across the screen, fast enough to blur into afterimages.
Andrew had imagined many cozy scenes upon returning home, but he never expected to find Madisyn so absorbed in a game. It seemed she had stayed up late, completely lost in her task.
A slight tinge of jealousy flickered in Andrewâs eyes as he walked over to her. The rhythm from the game built to a crescendo, and Madisynâs fingers danced with precision, reaching a peak in her speed.
âThree, two, oneâ¦â
As the countdown ended, Madisyn clicked the final note. âCongratulations on clearing the level. Your score is SSS, surpassing 100% of users nationwide.â
