Caroline turned around to see a woman in a beautiful dress approaching her. The dress doesn’t seem to be branded, but it was clear that it was custom-made, or else it wouldn’t fit her so perfectly.

She recognized Caroline, but Caroline had no idea who she was.

Given Betty’s familiarity with everyone present, Caroline assumed that the young lady must be an acquaintance of hers.

She greeted the young lady with a friendly smile. “Hi.”

Yvonne stared at Caroline in disbelief. They had fallen out a long time ago because of the incident with Marietta. Besides, she could never get over the fact that Adrian liked Caroline, either.

She was surprised to see Caroline here, and her first reaction was to pick a fight with her.

“Do you really not understand, or are you pretending not to?”

Yvonne moved closer and said, “Do you think I don’t know what you’re trying to do? You helped my mom find me to curry her favor. I just didn’t expect you to come for me in another country.”

Caroline’s expression changed, and she said, “Miss, I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Yvonne gave her a disdainful look. “You play the part quite well”

At this moment, a staff member approached Yvonne and said, “Miss, the cruise ship is ready to go.”

“That was quick. Stand by; I’ll be there in a moment,” Yvonne said as she waved her hand.

She looked at Caroline and asked, “Would you like to go out to sea with me?”

Caroline slightly furrowed her brows and said, “No, thanks.”

Yvonne laughed hysterically and said, “Do you really think I want to invite you? I just want to show you that my mother has generously given me a cruise ship.

“My mom loves me a lot. Don’t you dare take that from me.”

Caroline didn’t want to talk to Yvonne anymore, so she turned around to board the ship.

Yvonne stopped her immediately. “Are you crazy? Do you even know whose cruise ship that is? How dare you try to board it so casually?” It was the cruise ship that belonged to the Yates family.

Yvonne had heard of the foreign company SY Group before, but her understanding of it was shallow.

She had only learned more about the company after she traveled abroad with Marietta.
