Chapter 813

Along with the yell, countless petals fell to the ground. They scattered on the floor, forming a very romantic scene.

Caroline followed the trail of petals and saw a huge cake in the living room. The words “Welcome, Caroline” were written on the cake.

“This must be Caroline.” A luxuriously dressed woman walked over. She took Caroline’s hand and looked her over.

As Betty spoke, she looked at Caroline with a smile. “Carrie, do you have a boyfriend? How did you and Sean meet? What do you think of Sea-”

Before she could finish her words, Sean dragged her to the balcony. “Don’t even think about it, Mom.

She can’t be my girlfriend.”

“Why not? Don’t all boys and girls get together eventually?”

“She’s Kirk’s wife.”

Betty was speechless for a moment. After a while, she said, “That doesn’t sound right. If she’s really Kirk’s wife, she should be with the Morrisons and not with you. Are you lying to me?”
