When Sean and Gwen reached there, Jack and Cheryl were also there.

After Sean greeted them, he ran to the door and frantically banged on it. “Kirk! Open the door! Right now!”

When Sean walked in, he noticed that all the furnishings in his friend’s home were exactly the same as before Caroline had left.

“We’re here to see you,” Sean replied.

“Are you okay?”

“Why wouldn’t I be okay?” Kirk poured himself a glass of water. Apart from looking a little messy, he didn’t look like he was suffering.

Kirk looked at him, smiling for the first time in forever. “I’ve made up my mind to take Carrie out of the country.”

His words shocked the four of them.

Gwen said, “You want to take Carol abroad? Didn’t Dr. Caldwell say that you can’t be around her?”

“Strictly speaking, I won’t be the one who’ll take her away. Adrian will.”

When the four of them heard Adrian’s name, they were stunned once more.

They found it hard to believe the love rivals were working together now “Why would you want Adrian to take Caroline away?”

Sean said incredulously, “He likes her, you know!”

“Do you have any better ideas?”

Kirk nodded.

Jack nodded immediately. “Yes, sir, I’ll handle it right away.” With that said, he turned around and left.

Seeing this, Cheryl quickly said, “I’ll go with him.” When she was done talking, she quickly went after Jack.
