“What other choice do i have?”

Kirk took a deep breath and said self-deprecatingly, “I can’t just storm the wedding, let her see me, and cause her immeasurable harm.”

“You don’t have to take such extreme measures.” Adrian ignored Kirk’s tone.

He frowned in thought and then said, “I do have an idea, but I have no idea if you would-”

“Tell me!” Kirk gripped the wine bottle.

“It’s simple. You just need to take Caroline away.”

Without waiting for Kirk to agree, Adrian continued, “Easton is Eddy’s domain. He can do whatever he wants here.

“But that isn’t the case abroad. If you take Caroline out of the country, she can start a new life there.”

Kirk stopped fiddling with the wine bottle.

“You also think it’s a good idea, right?”

Adrian could tell Kirk was tempted by his idea, and he continued, “The only problem now is how to take Caroline abroad without Eddy finding out. Of course, we’ll have an easier time if we can get Caroline to cooperate.”

He continued, “But since she has lost her memory, it may be difficult for us to do so. However, I believe in making things happen.

“As long as we take action, we can get her out of the country.”

Kirk glanced at Adrian. “Are you really thinking of taking her abroad for her best interests alone?”

Adrian chuckled, not bothering to hide his true intentions at all. “Besides keeping Caroline away from that bastard, Eddy, I intend to get close to her while I’m at it.

“Although I empathize with your/plight, I haven’t forgotten that we are rivals.”

Kirk sneered, but he said nothing in response.

“Does your silence mean you agree to my idea?” Adrian asked tentatively, moving his legs.

However, Kirk still didn’t say anything.

Adrian couldn’t help but poke Kirk’s arm. “Come on, say something.”

“I have an idea to get Carrie to leave the country with you.”

His words shocked Adrian, and he wondered if there was a problem with his hearing. “What did you say?”

“I said…”

Kirk met Adrian’s gaze and repeated, “I have a way to get Caroline to leave with you.”

“What is it?” Adrian asked instinctively.

“You don’t have to ask. You just need to get her out of Easton safely.”

Adrian pursed his lips. He still couldn’t believe what he heard.

“Are you really willing to let me take Caroline abroad?”

“Do you have any better ideas?” Kirk took a sip of wine, its bitter taste making him cringe.

Adrain glanced at him, and the smile on his face disappeared. “Is it really worth it to sacrifice everything for her sake?”

“If you were in my position, you wouldn’t ask yourself this question, would you?” Kirk asked in return.

Hearing his words, Adrian smiled knowingly. “You have a point.”

Since he already loved Caroline, he would never ask such a stupid question.

When it came to that, he and Kirk were the same. It was also for this reason that they could sit here and calmly discuss how to take Caroline away.

Adrian stood up. He looked down at the broken glass and asked, “Do you still want to die now?”

Kirk said, “What do you think?”

Adrian smiled. “That’s a relief. I’ll leave Caroline to you.” With that, he stood up and left.

After he disappeared, Kirk dragged his body and slowly sat on the couch.

The lights hanging from the ceiling were dazzling. However, Kirk found it distasteful. He definitely wouldn’t feel that way if Caroline were here.
