Chapter 7
Trapped with My Billionaire Ex-Husband (Blair and Sebastian)
Chapter 7
BLAIRE
I can't believe that I have to endure staying at Sebastian's house and
leaving with my stepmother and stepsister all at the same time. If it
wasn't for my father, I wouldn't be staying here. Now that they can't go
back to our house, my father has no choice but to stay here as well. I'll
just make sure that my father is in good health and that heâs fine before
I leave this
house.
I heard a soft knock coming from the door. âMiss Blaire, dinner is ready.
They are all waiting for you downstairs.â It was Candice.
I walk towards the door and open it. âI'm fine, Candice. I'm not really
hungry. Tell them they can proceed without me,â I said.
She hesitated for a bit, but eventually she had no choice but to go back.
and tell them what I said.
I closed the door and went back to what I was doing before Candice
arrived. I picked up my favorite book and laid down on the bed, leaning
against the headboard.
I hadn't even finished the first page of the book that I was reading when
I heard another knock coming from the door. I frowned before I headed.
towards the door and opened it. âCandice.â My words hang mid-air
when it wasn't Candice who was behind the closed door. âWhat are you
doing here, Sebastian?â I asked when I was finally able to recover from
shock.
âPicking up my wife for dinner,â he answered while staring straight into
my eyes.
âWhy would you need your wife when you have your mistress with you?
Oh, my bad. I'm not your wife anymore, so she isn't your mistress.
Girlfriend, perhaps?â
âI didn't sign those papers, so you're still my wife,â he insisted.
âThen sign them now! Problem solve. I don't understand why you're still
giving me so much trouble with our divorce when you're the one who
Chapter 7
broke our vows in the first place,â I told him as my voice slowly arose
along. with my emotions that I had kept for a very long time.
âOver my dead b*dy, Blaire. I will never sign those papers. You need to
kill me first before I let you go,â he said, his voice icy, before striding
into my chamber.
âHey! You can't just barge in here!â I protested, trailing after him. My
eyes. widened in surprise as he headed straight for my dresser. I
furrowed my brow in bewilderment as he began sifting through my
garments. âWhat in the world do you think you're doing?â
âPreparing you,â he stated calmly. âYou're accompanying me
downstairs,â he declared.
âI've already told you, I refuse!â I insisted, folding my arms defiantly
across my chest.
âIt doesnât matter. You, of all people, know how I am perfectly capable
of taking your clothes off,â he uttered, leaving me even more perplexed.
My eyes grew bigger and bigger as he slowly took up the distance
between us. As he moved forward, my b*dy automatically took a step
back, if not for the edge of the bed that hit the back of my leg, which
stopped me from moving away from him.
I grabbed the clothes from his hand. âNo, need. I can dress myself up
said before running towards the bathroom.
I let out a loud breath that I had no idea that I had been holding the wh
time once I finally locked the door behind me. I want to scold myself. I
hate to admit it, but he still has the same effect on me as he did before.
I wanted to pretend that I had already forgotten all the feelings I have
for him, but who am I kidding? It still hurts to this day because I still love
him. But unlike in the past, I won't allow that love to blind me.
I deliberately took my time inside the bathroom. I was praying that he
wouldn't be there when I got out of the bathroom. But I think Go d is not
on my side tonight. I roll my eyes when I find him comfortably lying on
my bed while reading the book that I was reading a while ago.

âYou don't have to wait for me. I can go down alone,â I told him as I
rolled
my eyes.
âAnd give you a chance to ditch me off again? Not going to happen, my
sweet, lovely wife,â he said, followed by a devilish smirk that sent
shivers down my spine. âCome on, let's go. The food is getting cold.â
I roll my eyes at him once again. I'm not even trying to hide my
annoyance toward him. I walked past him and headed towards the
door. I hadn't taken a few steps when he suddenly grabbed my arm and
pulled me closer to him. My hands automatically pressed against his
chiseled chest to support myself. I hitched my breath when I noticed
that our faces. were only inches away from one another.
âRoll your eyes at me again, and I'll make sure that you're going to
scream in pleasure the whole night, he whispered against my lips. I can
feel his warm and minty breath brushing against my face.
I swallowed hard when my throat suddenly felt dry. I haven't noticed
that I have been holding my breath the whole time. My eyes were so
focused on his luscious lips that I didn't get a chance to hear what he
said next.
âBlaire...â His calling my name feels like music to my ear. âBlaire,â he
repeated.
This time, I snapped out of my reverie. I can't believe that I allowed
myself to daydream in front of him. âLet go of me!â I yelled at him,
masking my embarrassment with anger.
âStubborness suited you well, Blaire,â he commented with a playful
smile. on his lips. âBut I will not allow you to defy every chance you
get.â
He held my arm once again and gently pulled me out of the room. I
tried. to s natch my arm back, but he was holding me tightly. Instead of
letting me go, he shifted his hand onto mine, joining them together. He
didn't let me go until we reached the dining area.
Elena and Stacy turned to us at once. I can see their eyebrows raising
when they see us holding each other's hands. I couldn't help but smirk.
when I noticed how Stacy clenched her teeth upon seeing us together.
Chapter 7
âI'm sorry for making you all wait. My wife feels a little under the
weather,â Sebastian said once we reached the table.
Stacy looks as if she was on the verge of throwing the knife that she
was holding towards me. Sebastian always takes the power seat. And
Stacy deliberately took the right seat besides Sebastian while Elena
was sitting on the left side. Leaving me with no other space than to take
the next available seat, which is beside Stacy.
âIt's alright, Sebastian. We're the ones who wanted to say sorry for
intruding on your space. Please take a seat. Stacy prepared this meal
as a token of our appreciation.â Elena spoke with the fakest smile I
have ever seen in my entire life.
âYou donât have to do this, Stace. You're all family, and helping
in
times of need was the right thing to do,â Sebastian replied as he
settled. into his chair.
âBut, Ba sty, I really want to do this. I can't imagine what I would've
done if you hadn't answered my call,â Stacy added, her eyes gloating
as if she wanted to tell me that she still remains Sebastian's priority.
âYou're my wife's sister; of course I'll come,â he answered.
Her jaw dropped upon hearing what Sebastian said. I sneered in
silence, but they still didn't fail to notice. I hold my smile as I shrug my
shoulder as I start to put food on my plate. I remained silent while the
three of them continued their conversation. I'm not really hungry. Aside
from tha I donât think I would be able to hold my meal knowing that I'm
sharing it with my ex-husband and his mistress.
After a few bites, I carefully arrange my utensils and wipe my mouth
with the table napkin. The sound of a chair scraping against the floor
distracted. the three of them, and they suddenly became silent.
âI'd like to excuse myself. Enjoy your dinner,â I said, breaking the
silence. I didn't wait for their answer. I immediately turned my back and
left the dining area. I went straight back to my room and locked myself
inside.
I took a couple of deep breaths before I finally recovered from that
intense dinner. I'm just glad that itâs finally over. I started to gather my

things as I prepared myself for the bath. I took my precious time and
ran a
warm bath.
I soaked myself in the water for a good amount of time. It feels so
refreshing. It somehow relieves some of the tensions all over my b*dy. I
canât wait to lay down on my bed and take some rest.
Once I'm done taking a shower, I put on my nightgown before heading
towards the vanity mirror. I put on some lotion and some night cream
before heading towards the bed. Just as I was about to turn off my
lampshade, I heard a knock coming from the door. I glanced at the
clock, and it's already nine in the evening.
Who is it?
I reached for my robe and wrapped it around my b*dy to cover myself
up before I headed towards the door. I slowly opened it, and I was
surprised -to see Sebastian and Stacy standing outside the door.
âWhat's going on here?â I asked in confusion.
âDidn't I tell you that you're going to stay in our room?â Sebastian
asked. coldly, emphasizing the word âourâ to make his point.
âAnd I answered you no, right? I don't have any plans of sharing a bed
with anyone, even for a night,â I answered.
âBa sty, it's fine. I can stay in your room. I wouldn't mind,â Stacy butted
in shamelessly.
Regardless of whether Sebastian and I were divorced or not, I was still
in awe, watching Stacy practically beg to be with Sebastian. What's
going on with these two? Why do they have to keep dragging me into
their mess?
I turned to Sebastian, and he was glaring at me. He looks like a
predator who's ready to devour his prey. I cleared the invisible lump in
my throat as I tried to maintain our eye contact. But it was me who
couldn't handle. the heat of his gaze, which turned my eyes away.
He
âStacy, you can take this room,â Sebastian said coldly.

Before I could even react, he bended forward, and the next thing I
knew, I was hanging upside as Sebastian put me on his shoulder like a
sack of hot potatoes.
âSebastian, put me down!â I screamed at the top of my lungs as I struck
his back with my eagerness to force him to put me down. But it didnât
work.
Instead, he smashed my buttocks in to shut me up. âStay still. Reserve
your strength for later.â
