Chapter 14
Trapped with My Billionaire Ex-Husband (Blair and Sebastian)
Chapter 14
BLAIRE
Sebastian brought me to a private restaurant at the top of the most
expensive building in New York.
âWhy are we here? Let's just go back to your office and talk there,â I
suggested as we made our way inside the restaurant. He remained
silent as we proceeded inside. I thought we were just having a table,
but I was kind of surprised when the woman who assisted us from the
entrance led us to one of the private rooms.
As we stepped into the room, our eyes were immediately drawn to the
lone table positioned near the expansive glass wall. The food was
already set on the table.
The ambiance exuded an air of opulence and refined taste, with each
element meticulously curated to create an atmosphere that whispered
of wealth and elegance. It was then that a realization dawned upon me:
the true extent of Sebastian's affluence. I almost forgot how reachable
and powerful he is.
I can see the whole city from up here. My eyes were fixated on the view
as I walked. closer to the glass wall.
"Leave us,â I heard him order.
I turned around and saw the woman leave the room and close the door
behind her.
âHere, have a seat,â he said before pulling a chair for me.
I looked at him for a moment before taking the chair across from him.
His eyes. darkened as his jaw clenched upon my obvious defiance. It's
too late for him to be a gentleman. He should have done that before he
decided to jump into my sister's bed. It heard his sharp breath before
he took the chair that he pulled out for me.
His eyes were cold as he glared at me. âWhat do you want us to talk
about?â
"Our
setup. It may be against my will, but I do agree that it's the best for our
current situation. Let's wait until my father is well enough before we tell
him the truth,â I started.
He didnât t say anything. Instead, he started eating while acting as if he
didn't have any interest in the topic. His actions are starting to get on
my nerves. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself and not let his
actions get the best of me.
âSebastian, did you hear what I said?â I asked calmly.
He then lifted his eyes and looked at me intently. My throat suddenly
felt dry as he

watched me with hunger in his eyes. It was as if the food in front of me
wasn't enought to satisfy his hunger. I couldn't stand his lingering gaze
towards me, so I reached out for a glass of water. I suddenly felt thirsty
because of the way he looked at me.
After what seems like forever, he speaks. âEat. You're too thin. I don't
like my woman looking like a stick with bones.â
âI'm not your woman,â I corrected him.
âAs long as you're married to me, you are mine. Now, eat up.â
âI'm not hungry,â I replied, leaning back on my seat and crossing my
arm in front of my chest as I turned my gaze towards the window.
The sound of his chair screeching against the floor filled the whole
room. He then walked closer to me and started slicing a piece of steak
from my plate. I frowned and got curious about what he's planning to
do, so I turned my eyes towards him to watch. what heâs going to do.
My confusion grows further when he brings the slice of steak into his
mouth.
âIs your steak not to your taste?â I asked sarcastically. I couldn't think of
any possible reason why he would prefer having my steak over his.
Instead of giving me an answer, he pulled my chair towards him. And
before I could even say anything, I found his mouth pressed against
mine. The next thing I knew, he pushed the sliced steak into my mouth
with his tongue. I was too stunned to move. My eyes widen in shock.
âChew.â He ordered while our faces were inches away from each other
and our lips were brushing against one another.
I feel like I was hypnotized, as I found myself doing everything
according to his bidding. I'm not sure if it's because we're eating at the
most expensive restaurant in the city, but all I can say is that this is the
tastiest steak I have ever tried in my entire life. Instead of satisfying my
hunger, it just makes me crave more.
After chewing the meat thoroughly, I swallowed it without breaking eye
contact.
âOpen your mouth,â he whispered. I'm not really sure why, but I follow
his every word obediently. âGood girl,â he added when he saw my
mouth empty. âNow, you choose. Are you going to cat, or do you want
me to feed you?" he asked seductively.
In my head, I'm already screaming. Yes! Feed me with your mouth! But
no words came out of my mouth. I am not brave enough to express my
deepest and darkest desires.
"I'll eat,â I stuttered.

He smirked. âGood. But if you need my help, I'll be more than willing to
feed
you, love.â
I let out a sigh of relief once he finally put some distance between us. I
didn't notice that I had been holding my breath the whole time. I was
glaring at him as he walked back to
his chair.
âEat. We'll talk after this,â he said before proceeding with his meal.
A hushed ambiance enveloped us as we sat across from each other,
our attention focused on the meal laid out before us. The room seemed
to fade away, leaving only the soft clinking of cutlery against fine china.
It was a quiet intimacy, a shared moment underscored by the simple
act of savoring the culinary delights before us. Each bite was a
symphony of flavors, a culinary masterpiece that spoke volumes about
the expertise of the chef.
"Are
you done?â he asked after I finished aligning my utensils on the side.
âYes,â I replied while wiping my mouth with the napkin.
It didn't take long before a few waiters came in to clean up our table.
âCoffee?â he asked again.
âSure, I'll have one, I replied.
He then proceeded to order a coffee from the waiter. I thought he'd be
going outside to get it, but instead, he went to the side of the room to
prepare it. That's when I noticed. that the room that we're in has its own
coffee bar. He prepared two freshly brewed coffees and brought them
to our table along with some sugar and fresh milk.
ou
âDo you want any dessert?â
âNo, I'm good.â I decline.
âWe're good for now. Tell others not to enter the room unless I allow it,â
he ordered.
âYes, sir,â he acknowledged before leaving the room and closing the
door behind him.
Once we were finally alone again, he picked up his coffee and drank it
while looking intently into my eyes. I couldn't deny the effect he has on
me whenever he looks at me with those mesmerizing eyes.
âSo, what is it that you want to talk about?â he asked after putting his
cup back on the table. He likes his coffee to be dark and bitter. That's
why he didn't bother putting some sugar and milk in his coffee.
On the contrary, I like my coffee to be cre amy and sweet. I added the
fresh milk and three cubes of sugar to my coffee before I answered
him.

"Boundaries. I want to set some boundaries if we want these charades
to continue,â I started.
âGo on,â he said while continuing to sip his coffee.
âYou can't just k*ss me, hold me, or grab me whenever
you want.â
50%
âWhy not? Have you seen any normal couple who asked permission
before they showed affection to their partner?â he said, trying to
challenge me.
âWe're not a normal couple, I debated.
âThen, what are we, Blaire? Please do enlighten me.â
âWe're two people who were planning to end this marriage.â
âOne person, Blaire,â he corrected. âOnly one person wanted this
marriage to end.â
I blew a loud breath out of frustration. âWhy? Why would you want to
say that in this loveless marriage? We both know that you were just
forced into this for business. Hell, I'm not even the first choice to be
your wife. It was my sister, right? She's the one you love. She's your
first love. Why are we still staying in this marriage when we can already
set each other free?â I am already catching my breath once I'm done
saying all I wanted
to say.
"Done?" he asked before he stood from his chair.
I was alarmed when he started walking closer to me. Nothing good
comes into it whenever heâs this close to me. I need to keep my
distance.
âStay right there!â I yelled at him, which immediately stopped his track.
His eyebrow arched as if he didnât appreciate my outburst.
âGive me one good reason why,â he replied.
âWhenever you're close, we always end up doing things that are not
supposed to happen. We need to talk. If I allow you to come closer, I'm
sure you'll end up k*ssing me again,â I said, trying to avoid his lingering
gaze.
He chuckled before he went back to his seat. âFair enough.â
I took a deep breath. I felt relieved that he managed to listen to me this
time. I really can't afford to get distracted again.
âSo? Do we have a deal?â I said, trying to raise the topic once again.
âFirst, I'm not forced into this marriage. I can't speak on your behalf, but
for me, it was. my decision to accept our marriage. Second, Catherine
may have been my first love,
Chapter 14
but our relationship ended the moment I accepted this marriage. She
chose to leave that day, and I chose to be with you.â
âThen, why did you choose to cheat on me?â I shouted. I wasn't
expecting my outburst, but it's already too late to back out. I have been
trying to be calm and collected despite what he did, despite my effort to
make our marriage work. But I canât stand him talking in front of me as
if he never did anything wrong.â
âI'm a one-woman man, Blaire. So, it's hard for me to hear that
accusation from you that I know nothing about.â
âAre you still going to deny that you came running back to my sister as
soon as she went back after running away from you? Or you're going to
lie about visiting my sister and jumping into her bed the minute you
walk into her room.â He chuckles, which infuriates me even more.
âWhat's funny? Am I a joke to you?â
âYeah, you're funny,â he responded, which makes my blood boil.
I quickly grabbed the glass of water from the table and splashed it on
his face. My breathing was heavy as I watched his eyes darken. He
was glaring at me as he reached. for the table napkin. He wiped his
face with it before he stood up from his chair. I started to panic when he
got closer and closer to me. I stand up from my chair, trying to get away
from him.
But as soon as I step back, he quickly takes the distance between us
and grabs my waist, pulling me tightly..
âI said donât come near me,â I told him as I kept on pushing him away.
âIs that why you ran away?â he asked when he finally spoke.
I frowned in confusion. "What else could it be?â
He smirked. His hand slowly moved and gently caressed my cheeks.
Our faces were only inches away from each other. I can smell the
coffee on his breath as it brushes against my face.
âYou could have saved us a year if you just came and talked to me
about it,â he said, smiling. âI should keep in mind how jealous you can
be,â he added without giving me much context.
âWhat are you talking about?â
