Chapter 13
Trapped with My Billionaire Ex-Husband (Blair and Sebastian)
Chapter 13
BLAIRE
Since I don't want to stay in our house, I decided to pay Sebastian a
visit in his office. I wanted to talk to him about our setup. I need to set
some boundaries. He can't just k*ss me and hold me whenever he
wants to. We may still be married, but our marriage is over. I'm just
waiting until everything is settled before I push for divorce again. But
this time, I'll make sure that he will definitely sign it.
It's been a year since I last went to his office. On my way there, I
passed by a coffee shop
nd decided to buy some coffee and pastries. The place was basically
the same. There have been a few changes around the building.
Sebastian owned a real estate and construction company and has
been one of the wealthiest men in the country.
There are a lot of new faces that I saw as I made my way to his office.
The security didn't recognize me, so they asked me to go through the
registration process just like all the people visiting the building.
âYour name, please?â said the woman in the reception.
âBlaire Allicent Foster,â I replied. Since I discovered that Sebastian
hasn't pushed through with our divorce, Foster is still my legal name.
The woman lifted her head and looked at me with scrutinizing eyes.
She raises her eyebrow in suspicion.
âWhat floor?â she said as she brought her eyes back to the computer
and started typing again.
âTop floor,â I responded innocently.
âYou're here to see Mr. Foster?â
âYes.â
âIt seems like your name isn't listed as an allowed visitor. Do you have
an appointment? May I know what the purpose of your visit is?â she
asked.
I smiled. âI didnât know that I needed to set an appointment to see my
husband.â
âI'm sorry, ma'am. It's just protocol. You wouldn't be the first woman to
introduce herself as Mr. Foster's wife. It's for security. Do you have any
identification with you?â she replied.
I have no identification with me. In addition to that, I haven't been using
the name Foster since I left.

Chapter 13
She hasn't said anything that doesnât make sense, and she has been
on
point the whole time. But I can't help but feel irritated by the way she
looked at me, as if she were judging me and accusing me of being
delusional. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. I forced a smile
on my face and agreed with her.
âFair enough. But could you at least call his office and let him know that
I am here?"
âIf you were what you said you were, why don't you call him yourself?
I'm sure if you were Mr. Foster's wife, you'd have his personal phone
number, right?â She said it mockingly.
I gave her a fake smile. I hate it that sheâs making a very good point. âI
would have done that only if I had my phone with me.â
She looked at me with suspicion. âI'm sorry, ma'am. But I'm afraid I
canât let you in.â
I bit my lower lip, trying to think of something to convince her to let me
in. But I donât want to make a scene. âCan I at least wait for him in the
lobby?â
âI'm sorry, ma'am. But we don't tolerate bystanders. Why donât you just
wait for him in your house?" she said sarcastically.
I squinted my eyes as I took a deep breath. I'm already on the verge of
not knowing whether I will make a fool of myself or not. I wanted to grab
her hair and press it hard against the reception counter in front of us. In
the end, I realized that it wasn't worth my energy. There's no use
insisting on my identity as Sebastian's wife when it won't be long before
I become his ex-wife.
I decided to go out and wait outside the building. The cold breeze of the
city welcomed me the moment I stepped outside the building. I stayed
outside for a couple of minutes, contemplating whether I should wait for
him or go home. It only took me fifteen minutes before I decided to go
home. I saw a homeless man on the street and decided to give him the
coffee and pastries that I bought for Sebastian.
Right after the homeless man took the coffee and pastries from my
hand, I heard a familiar voice.
âBlaire?â
I turned around and found Sebastian, who was just about to leave the
building.
He quickly approached me, frowning. âWhat are you doing here?â He
looked at the homeless man who's currently eating the bread that I
gave him. âAm I petty if I felt jealous that you managed to buy a
homeless man a cup of coffee and pastries, but not your husband?â he
said, raising his eyebrow.
âThat was yours, actually. But you wouldn't allow me to go
to your office, so I decided to

give it away. I was just about to go home,â I explained.
âYou weren't allowed to get inside? Why?â he asked, frowning. âDid you
tell them you're my wife?â
âI did. But I donât have anything with me that carries your name. It's b
fine. I understand it's protocol. Let's go; I want us to talk,â I said before
walking past him to lead the way.
But I was surprised when he suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me
inside the building. âSebastian, what are you doing?â I asked him in
confusion.
He didn't bother to answer. Instead, he went straight to the reception.
All eyes were on us as we walked closer to it. As we approached the
desk, the woman who didn't allow me to get inside saw us, and her
eyes grew wide in shock.
âWho among you was the one who didnât allow my wife to get inside my
building?â he asked with an icy tone.
I looked at the women behind the desk, and fear was evident in their
eyes. The woman who talked to me a while ago was obviously in
shock.
âDo I have to repeat myself?â he shouted. We are starting to catch so
much attention,
I pulled Sebastian's arm to console him. âSebastian, it's fine. It wasn't a
big deal. It's nob*dyâs fault. Just let it slide. Though I was irritated with
the woman who assisted me a while ago, I don't think I wanted her to
lose her job just by implementing the company's protocol.
âI can't let this slide. Because one of them is the reason why I donât
have my coffee and pastries now,â he answered coldly.
I dropped my jaw upon hearing that. Is he for real? He was this mad
because I gave his coffee away. âIf that's the reason why you're mad,
then I'll just buy you coffee again. Okay?â
He glared at me for a few seconds, as if he were contemplating his next
decision. Eventually, his eyes softened as he let out a loud sigh. âI want
the biggest one,â he finally
said.
I just roll my eyes at him as I shake my head.
âDid you just roll your eyes at me?â he asked, squinting his eyes.
âStop it, Sebastian. Let's go,â I brushed him off before pulling him
towards the exit.
But he didnât bud. I looked at him in confusion while he remained
standing in front of the reception. I wasn't expecting what he did next.

âEveryone, listen!â he shouted, which caught everyone's attention.
âSebastian, what are you doing?â I asked in panic as I kept looking
around the people in there.
"Some
you may be new to this co
company, so I will let this slide. My wife took a year- long vacation
outside the country, but now sheâs back. I want you all to remember this
beautiful face. Because the next time I hear that you didn't allow my
wife to get inside my building, it will also be the last time that you'll be
working here. Am I making myself clear?â He said it firmly.
They all answered in unison. I can't believe Sebastian actually did that.
I can already feel my cheeks burning in shame. All I wanted to do was
cover my face or wish that I would just magically disappear from the
face of the earth.
I let out a sigh of relief when he was finally done. He then pulled me
again towards the exit of the building.
âYou don't have to do that.â I complain..
âOf course I have to. I own the whole fcking building, and they won't
allow my wife to get inside? You see how absurd it sounds.â
âBut they probably didn't recognize me. Besides, we're going to get a
divorce once my father recovers. So, there's actually no point in doing
that,â I insisted.
âYou're still at it, are you?" he said as his eyes darkened. I immediately
took a step back, but his hand was quick to grab my waist and pull me
closer to him until our bodies were inches away from each other. âWhen
are you going to get into your stubborn head that we're not getting a
divorce? You're mine,â he whispered before sealing my lips with a k*ss.
I
