Chapter 1700
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âBlair, watch your manners!â
âI donât fucking care! Wesley, you asshole! Let me go!â Blair raised her wrist that he was holding, and
bit into his arm.
She vented out her anger on him by biting, beating, and kicking him.
Once she was done, he looked at the teeth mark that she left on his arm, and then looked at her.
âFeeling better? Then get back in the car!â There was a bit of pleading in his tone
However, Blair wanted to continue calling him all kinds of insulting names.
âIâd rather walk home than get back in your car!â she spat out as she shook off Wesleyâs hand once
again and started to walk away.
Wesley observed Blairâs retreating figure. Her stubbornness was giving him a headache.
Sighing in defeat, he caught up to her and scooped her up, draping her over his shoulder in a firemanâs
carry.
Blair felt like vomiting as her stomach pressed hard against his firm shoulder.
âWesley, you son of aââ
âOne more nasty insult, and IâLL strap you to the car roof and drive you home,â Wesley threatened.
âFuck you, Wesley!â
âFine. Do it as you wish.â

Blair was rendered speechless for a moment. She then grew even angrier.
Wesley put her in the passenger seat and put the door on childâs Lock so that she would not be able to
get out again.
Blairâs head was starting to ache too. She had no more energy to quarrel with Wesley. She closed her
eyes and leaned against the seat.
Neither Blair nor Wesley uttered another word for the remainder of the ride back.
When the car approached the housing estate, Blair opened her eyes, took out the bank card Wesley
gave her and tossed it to him.
âIâLL pay you back for the money you spent on me today. Iâm not your girlfriend, and itâs not your duty to
buy me things. How much did you spend on me today? Tell me, and Iâll pay you back.â
Wesley lowered his head and saw the card that he gave to her this morning.
âYou donât have toââ
Blair immediately cut him off, âItâs a must. Weâd better be strangers from now on. Donât worry. I wonât
bug you anymore. And please donât appear before me again. Itâs the best for both of us.â
Wesley could not respond. Her cold words painfully stabbed at his heart.
Blair continued, âWell, if you wonât give me an exact number, fine.
