Chapter 1473
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Kasie giggled and praised her friend, âTomboy, I really admire you. You have truly tamed the aloof
CEO. You need to teach me how to do these things.â
Debbie stroked her hair and asked casually, âHow are you and Ivan?
Carlos and I are having our second baby. What about you?â
Kasie blushed on the other end of the line.
âI was going to tell you about that. Youâre three months pregnant, right? Well, Iâm in the second month
of pregnancy. I just got the result from the hospital!â
Kasie said excitedly.
Her and Ivanâs parents had been looking forward to such a piece of news. And now, she was finally
pregnant.
âWow! Congratulations, Mrs. Walker! Why donât you come back to Alorith so that we can be pregnant
together?â
âI wish. My mom wanted me to fly back too, but Ivanâs mother didnât agree. She wants to take care of
me herself. She has promised that Ivan could take me to Alorith for a while during the fourth month,â
Kasie said. She was happy that Ivanâs mother cared so much for her, but she also felt helpless
because she really missed her parents and her friends.
âWell, she does seem to care for you a lot. Hey, Kasie, Iâm feeling kinda sleepy. I should probably go
take a nap. I will call you later, okay?â Debbie had slept well earlier, yet she still felt very drowsy.
âOkay. Take care, Tomboy. Bye!â
Debbie didnât even move after hanging up. She fell asleep in the hanging chair on the balcony.
When Carlos came back, he saw her sleeping soundly in the hanging chair.

He sighed and grabbed the blanket on the bed before heading to the balcony.
Debbie was a Light sleeper, so he tried his best to put the blanket on her softly. But it still woke her.
She opened her eyes slowly and complained in a hoarse voice, âI just fell asleepâ¦â
Carlos was amused and apologized immediately, âSorry. I didnât mean to wake you.â
She closed her eyes again.
âDid you bring me something to eat?â she asked.
Carlos was stunned.
âNo. I-â
Debbie interrupted him and snapped, âYou shouldâve been able to tell from my sleeping position in the
morning what I was craving for! Why didnât you buy me the food that I wanted to eat?â
Carlos was rendered speechless. He recalled that before he had left that morning, she had been
sleeping on her side. So he asked, âWhat do you like to eat when you sleep on your side? And on your
back?â He needed to write everything down.
âHmmâ¦when I sleep on my left side, I want ice-cream. When I sleep on my right, I want hotpot. When
Iâm on my back, I want chicken feet, chips, cola, hamburgerâ¦â
Carlosâ jaw dropped. The food she was listing out had all been banned by him.
